Best Buy availability

Best buy has a list of online retailers that they will price match with. Circuitcity.com is one and they have it for 249

so does target.com

They do? That's not what their price match policy says online:

Does Best Buy match the prices of Internet retailers?
No. Unless Best Buy is running a test or promotion under this Guarantee that allows for Price Matching Internet retailers, we do not match the prices of Internet-only retailers or the website prices of our local retail competitors' stores. If, however, a local retail competitor has the same or lower price as its online store and the customer can provide verification of the in-store price, Best Buy will match the price (so long as all other price match policy criteria are met).

I hope you're right though. I can't sleep right now. Even though I spoke with the manager tonight and he positively guaranteed that he could order me a grey one and swap it out with the white I'll be picking up tomorrow, this all still has me on edge waiting to finally get this phone, after it's been 2 weeks since it was released.

I don't know if this will apply to phones, but I got an email from Best Buy stating that price matching will extend until Jan. 24, for items purchased as early as Nov. 4. I'm going to be verifying that in 15 minutes, but wanted to post that up for those buying through best buy.

I'll try getting a screen shot up for you all later. Just waiting in the parking lot to get my phone. Didn't realize Best Buy opens later on Sundays.

Where I'm at they open at 11 a.m. on Sun. I discovered that when I went there at 10. Not close enough to go back home so I had to find something to do for that hr.

LOL...Yeah. I didn't even think about it. Just assumed it was 10am every day. Nontheless, I have the white right now. The grey might be more of a pain in the butt for me to swap to than I was originally anticipating, so we'll see what happens.

Manager at the best buy I got my phone at is really cool and accommodating and I think I've devised a plan that'll work, but I'm not gonna move forward with that until I confirm that it'll be a viable option.

Forgot to mention, after I got home...I completely forgot about the prices on Radio Shack, Walmart, & Circuit City's websites...so, I printed out all 3 and went back (luckily I had other errands to do around the area). No problems on price match and no questions on whether any of the stores had stock! Drex = happy camper.

Looks like I'll be playing the waiting game on the grey Note 2. Too much hassle for the manager and his team to go through to order the phone for me.

If it doesn't ever get sold in the store, I'll just be keeping the white. I love the white too, but just wanted to distinguish between my international and sprint version.

Thanks so much.

I know you're going to be an advocate of my keeping both white phones...lol.

LOL!!!!!! The way I see it (and you might too cause we tend to think alike) is to put a small sticker of some sort on the CASE you're going to put your international phone in. Chances are extremely high you won't be carrying it around on a daily but when you do need to use it, you'll know which is which.

Or better than a sticker, different color cases. :D

I'm just so happy you finally have at least one of them. The ridw was long and we've been riding that roller coaster with you.

Actually, what I'm hoping is Unique skins comes out with their protective skins that can add customization to the front. If they do, it'll be easy. I might also try to get a titanium back cover for my daily use phone.

Yeah, I am so happy I haven't even customized yet...lol. Been wanting to just post on the forums.

Can't wait to see where battery is once I leave it alone. I'm only at 55% after alll this activity. Really do love this phone.

Which reminds me, I guess I should update to multi-tasking. Still hasn't pushed to my phone.

Have to re-quote you. With the price print out from all 3 sites, price match was a breeze.

Btw, for those of you in California, definitely price match after initial purchase. PM me if you want to know why.

Yeah, I never rec'd the OTA either so I did it manually. Also did my friends phone for him. He was clueless and only got this phone because I have it.

I was just saying earlier that I couldn't wait for multi view and now that I have it I only used it once to show off. LOL! :p

Best Buy price match of $199 accomplished with print out of front page from amazon. I love best buy for mobile purchases. : ) I should preface by saying that this might be YMMV because I've gone to other Best Buy locations that aren't as accommodating for price match.

Best Buy matched the full retail price at AT&T for me, I can't remember what it was but AT&T was less. The reason I bought at Best Buy was because they have 30 day return and no restocking fee, AT&T is now 14 or 15 days and a $35 restock fee. Fortunately I'm NOT returning my Note 2.

I hate when I feel like I missed something. :p What did you buy now?

LOL... Didn't buy anything yet, but my Best Buy is such a no hassle place for price matching that it will allow me to buy something else....hehehe. I was so close to buying a note 10.1 today cuz of the 150 I have on gift card right now and the temporary price match, but I think I'm gonna get the smaller note. I was so set on getting the ativ 700t, but doesn't look like best buy is gonna have it (only the 500t listed), and ts had posted a thread, in the Samsung forum, with the rumors of a smaller note tablet being released in 2013. I still may get the ativ 700t if I need to replace my laptop, but the smaller note tablet would probably be less money out of pocket.

I got 2 price matches today. 199 for note 2 price match. 89 for my printer price match (I love being silver premiere).

I bought my GN2 from at&t store on launch day and today was the last day for any returns or exchanges. They wouldn't do any price adjustments at the store so I called at&t and told them that Walmart had the Note 2 for $249 plus $100 gift card and within 4 minutes I got a $153 credit on my next bill!!!

Went from $180 to $25 just like that... I thanked the rep for not making me run to the store for a last minute refund...
So in the end, I paid $150+tax on the Note 2. Very happy with AT&T!

Great deal. I'm not sure what offers if any will exists for Verizon...

At bestbuy today and the sales guy said he would match Verizon's 699.99 retail price for me when it comes in. They have it set for $799.99

Bumping this thread again to just say how much I love Best Buy's price matching. Amazon has Sprint Note 2 for 99 right now, for new account. Went to Best Buy to price match. Done. Again, I have to say that a lot of times it's YMMV, but worst that could happen is they say no. I love it. Even if there are no more deals better than this for the year, I am a happy camper. So happy I'm silver premiere because price match timeframe is 45 days.

I used Amazon wireless price match at best buy and got the note 2 for 199.99 upgrade. Initially it was 279.99 when I purchased but on Monday my brother went back and got another price match and got an additional $80 back to make it a grand total of 199.99.
