I have one of these and it is pretty good. Kind of a silicone type case. If I hadn't gone to the OtterBox, this is the case I would be using. Available in many colors and designs. Lots on eBay also. Pretty cheap.
I have to concur; these are really good, cheap protection, and I like the way it feels in my hand. Doesn't get sticky like the thicker silicone. When I go out I put the phone w/the tpu skin in a Golla bag (a discontinued design that I also got really cheap on eBay).
Are these what you mean? Some of the ones I looked at are pretty nice and will fit the Optimus S... so the OpV would fit also I think.
Lastly, I forsee myself eventually using a cradle like I did for my Palm TX. Do either of the above cases create problems with a cradle? Are there any cradles already availible? Alarm clock docking stations?
Thanks in advance, and I'll keep reading.
I carry mine in a belt case. I haven't yet put a screen protector on it, but I do need to find a skin so it doesn't fly apart should I happen to drop it.
You could use the screen protector that came with the phone if you still have it.
I'm also waiting for the leather case that I ordered to come in. Hopefully the Otterbox fits in side I'll update you guys when it arrives.
I recommend Skinomi. I haven't had a "non covering" issue... and I got mine for $8.95 (with THIS PROMO CODE), guaranteed/warranteed for life.
Got an OtterBox... the Commuter for the LG Optimus... it also comes with a hard screen protector included.
Then there'sTHIS CASE that fits the phone WITH the OtterBox installed.![]()
