Just ordered the Newman N1 from Etotalk! Hope everything is OK, I'll post if anything is not mentioned/commented by the time it arrives.
 
Samsung launching another Duos phone - Galaxy S II, also for WCDMA countries.
Specifications HERE

Should be upgradeable to ICS. Available next week at stated from Samsung - at least in my country. Price ist not yet known.
 
As i think a phone with a 4 inch display is just too big for me, can someone say wich is the best 3.5 inch ICS dual sim phone in the market now?
 
ZTE V970 is good phone and I think quality is better than Newman N1.
4.5", IPS 960x540, MTK6577, 1GB RAM, dual-sim.
Price also is good. One group-buy site now making promotion for it in Aliexpress store. $179.99 including Singapore post shipping.

V970 is not 4.5" it is 4.3"
 
So many android phones and there will be much more.So hard to choose the best one.But i think mine is great.bSense ICS which only costs $168.99 is a cool MTK6575 Dual Sim Card android phone.

I own a ZTE V970 and Huawei U8836D. I can tell you the better from each phone:


ZTE V970
+ an excellent reception of the antennas. I've never that before with a phone.
+ the digitizer of the screen is working slightly better but not perfect
+ slightly thinner
+ nicer

Huawei U8836D
+ better battery capacity (don't be afraid to leave your charger 4 days!)
+ front LED for the messages
+ front camera

The "Samsung I929 Galaxy S II Duos" is CDMA not WCDMA, and as WCDMA is used in (at least most of) Europe, it is not wary interestion for users in Europe.

You can see the specs in the link you posted yourself.
 
So I got the ZTE V970 and recieved it yesterday. Almost everything works as it should except that the phone thinks I'm roaming.

I am using my Swedish SIM (Tele2) that is both recognized correctly and lets me surf (if I allow roaming). In my old phone (bought in Sweden) the SIM works correctly but does not think I'm roaming. I am using the etotalk custom ROM.

Are there any settings or such that I should change to make it understand that it's NOT roaming? I have checked the APN settings and those are correct. Are there any country settings I need to set? Does the phone think that it's "home country" is China?

EDIT: I changed my IMEI numbers from 86** to 35** but it still says roaming. My provider sent me an SMS with APN information though. I choose that APN but still roaming.

Can you comment on the battery life? It was suggested that it drains quite fast. I am curious.

For the folks having access to the german computer magazine C't; next issue 5. Nov. will have a comparison of dual SIM Androids. My guess is, it's those You can easily get in Germany.
The C't is THE computer magazine with the highest reputation in Germany.

Can anyone post detailed review of Huawei U8836D please ?? Please note t hat some people on xdadevelopers have complained that Newman N1 and ZTE V960 have got poor battery and i decided to not consider them ....I request any owner to post review of this phone
