Accessories Best Incredible [Full] Screen Protector

What is this "steinheil" people are talking about?

I googled this, and I couldn't find a website for the product.

Well, out of Steinheil, Boxwave and Clarivue, which is the clearest?

And how much of a glare reduction is there? If it doesnt really make much of a different, maybe I'm better off with nothing at all on the screen. I wish I could just try these out and return them if I don't like them.

I put mine on last night and yes the pinch to zoom is more difficult because the screen is a bit more pliable. Also one thing that really really bothering me is it didn't go on completely clear at all! It appears to be grainy in spots throughout, under the screen. I assure you the phones screen was cleaned throughly before applying. Anyone else experience this? Can these be reapplied?

ZAGG uses a material which is cloudy and has orange peel effect and does not allow your finger to slide smoothly on it. Its a horrible screen protector. Works great for the body of the phone though. Just dont put it on your screen.

I had a protector from BestSkinsEver on my BB Curve. It very very similar to Zagg in that you had to wet it first and it actually had this "orange peel" effect and had a slight grippy feel to it but you know what when the phone was ON it was crystal clear. It was very easy to clean and was never cloudy. The phone wasn't a touch screen but my fingers could move across the screen without issue if it was.

I ordered a Zagg Shield bc I had 50% off coupon so if it doesn't work I'm out $7 no biggie but I don't think it will be a problem at all.

I installed a zagg on my wife's incredible yesterday this morning when i tried to put the case back on the corner started to peel up. so imo they are yes kinda sticky, the orange peel is there, and they don't even stay on good. i am going with the steinheil.

I got my Phantom Skinz in the mail. They are very comparable to boxwave which I have used plenty of times. Perfect fit too.

How is the application process? The liquid application worries me with the speaker being right there and liquid seemingly being easy to drip in. Or, the solution not drying completely under the screen.

I've used both on my EnV Touch and found the clear to scratch very easily. I really like the texture of the anti- glare although some may not like it because of the frosted look. Definitely waiting on the anti-glare.

What do you mean by frosted look? And are they plastic or something that self heals? I have a Zagg on my iPod touch right now but don't like it all that much.

Do you find that It's not the clearest? Almost looks like there's dust under the screen.

Mine is pretty clear. I put it on immediately after taking it out of the box. A small amount of dust collects at the very edge of the material. A few ridges and bubbles from the installation and a very small amount of orange peel(not nearly as bad as some people have). The part on the screen is ok overall, but the sides and corners of the back piece are peeling back(bad installation I guess on my part). The back is also turning a slight goldish tint.

My biggest gripes are:
Fingerprints
Can get sticky if your fingers are dry
INSTALLATION - hate it. I have heard best buy will install it for you but its still a pain
the gold tint

for the price, i wouldnt recommend Zagg, but it certainly has protected by ipod fine and if you can get Best Buy to install it it shouldnt be bad.

The fact that Clarivue is easy to install and has an anti-glare option is basically perfect for me.

I have had a Zagg shield on since I received the phone last Thursday... I followed the instructions, and I was very careful to use as little of the solution as possible while installing the shield. It has worked wonderfully for me, and I think that so long as you are careful and follow the instructions during installation the product works great. You can definitely notice the orange peel when the screen is turned off, but whenever the screen is turned on you will hardly notice that the shield is there. Does add a bit of stickiness to the screen, but it's not nearly as bad as some people have claimed. My .02 cents...

Just installed a zagg screen protector. I have to say, the stickiness and "orange peel" is not nearly as bad as the one i used to have for my se non-touchscreen phone. I really hated it on my old phone, but got it for the incredible bc had 50%off coupon.

i do believe that zagg offers very high protection but sacrifices some clarity. I am by no means a zagg lover and actually kinda hated it, but i am pleasantly surprised with the one for the incredible. maybe they updated it or maybe i installed much better this time around, but turned out much better.

btw i installed in a steamy bathroom after a shower like some here have suggested.

Clarivue, Boxwave and Steinheil are all statically applied. The best way I can describe the anti-glare is that it looks somewhat like frosted glass. It does distort the screen ever so slightly but you get used to it very quickly. It's surface is super slick and I just loved the feel of it. Oh, and it doesn't show finger prints. Only protector I've ever applied bubble free.
