Accessories Best Incredible [Full] Screen Protector

I think most will kick themselves for spending money on protectors, but I mean if you want that piece of mind, I'm not going to blame you.... its your phone so do what you want. I just got my incredible and WOW!!!! good luck everyone with yours. Its the same screen and everything as the incredible.

YouTube - Nexus One- Overly Excessive Screen Test

Take a couple specs of dirt or sand and scrape them around on your screen and see how that works. Main ingredient in glass is silica and guess what. The main ingredient in dirt and sand is silica too. Therefore they are hard enough to scratch the glass. Metal such as keys and scissors while sharp are too soft to scratch the glass.

For the record, after two full weeks of putting the ZAGG InvisibleShield screen protector in my g/f's incredible, the last bubble disappeared. It had about 10-12 bubbles all over phone, first day, about 4 were gone the next day, and then in the coming days one or two would disappear. And the last bubble which was the biggest one, was disappearing from time to time, yesterday I saw the phone, and everything was clear and clean.

Just beautiful.

Just a FYI for anyone thinking they might not go away.

I was ready to return and get a replacement and going to best buy for professional installation.

Patience paid off.

:D

I have a Phantom Skinz Screen Protector I had bought for a HTC Hero. I applied it last evening to my Inc... No issues at all and smudging is completely gone a 100% difference then without.. This is a no frill protector and goes on easily with water. No fingerprints at all. I totally suggest this product. No I don't work for them but if I did I would push the product.
I'm sure they will get a INC is stock.

I've had my Phantom Skinz for over a week now. It is a great protector. You can not even see it with a case on the phone. Hardly any fingerprints and my finger slides easily over the screen.

I just got my screen patronus full screen protector. It is a static type and reusable. It went on easy and bubbles were easily wiped off with a card. Crystal clear and I'm liking it so far...

I put Ghost Armor on mine. The installation was very quick and easy. I've got a little bit of pushing up on two corners due to the silicone case, but its very minor and the rest of the screen looks great with no bubbles, etc.

Their ecommerce has a lot of technical problems...they said they are working on redesigning the site to fix those and they did a manual order for me

I am digging my Zagg. I only see the orange peel when off and at a severe angle (who cares) and thus far no stickiness of tacky feeling. Diggin it.

JUST installed my phantom skinz screen protector..

first impression:
protectors were SCUFFED from being packaged with the protector touching the "application card" in the packaging. 2 protectors side by side on one backing sheet. rectangle shape of credit-card applicator is visible etched into the protectors.

fit well. followed instructions.

problems:
the "application card" SHUDDERED (slip/stick skipped) across the surface (instead of gliding smoothly. I have applied many vinyl boat name letters (same soapy-water procedure) with lots of success.. and i haven't had this problem before. There are some marks on the screen protector from the skipping. hoping they "self-heal" like phantom skinz claims some problems do.

will update tomorrow

I did something cool. I took out my Skinomi screen protector, and soaked it with soap water. The reason is because it has dust that sticks to it, and I cannot remove using tape or whatever. After soaking, rinse it with water and repeat one or two more times.
Guess what? The dust was gone!

I want anti glare, and i was gonna do sgp, but the reviews are all bad. Any other places? I have heard boxwave, nushiled, etc. Sooo many choices

All anti-glare/anti-fingerprint screens will blur the screen on the phone. It's just a physical property of that type of screen.

I'd love a crystal clear screen that does not pick up fingerprints, but I dont' think it's possible.

this may not be typical but I just installed my sgp crystal clear screen protector (2x) totally botched the first try :) 2nd one looks pretty good, the thing I notice is that it seems to resisist fingerprints A LOT more than my naked screen did. it also seems smoother to slide on. (and yes i did double check to make sure they sent me the right ones) the protector is perfectly clear. the only issues i have is that the corners seem to lift up pretty easy, this very well may be from my install though. other than that I am deligted with the product. the only concern I have is how well they will hold up when I try to slide my innocase case onto it.

I just got my Boxwave anti-glare. I love it. I use ShapeWriter keyboard and I needed a screen protector that was smooth. My first one was nice but my finger would drag on it and that really messed up the writing.

pics of my CC Steinheil with Verizon silicone case:

Just tried the Steinheil anti-glare and it degraded the screen quality too much to be usable, so I'm back the Verizon one until the Clear one gets here.

I've read through many topics and this is what I'm giving up my posting virginity for. I'm indecisive on what to choose for my Incredible (which hasn't arrived yet). Apparently the Steinheil gets damaged easily but others give it rave reviews. I'm quite interested in the Zagg screen protector but I can't find much info on it.

Any ideas on what the best protector would be? Possibly something clear please, I'm not really into the anti-glare, reflective or anti-fingerprints.
