Root best kernel for cyanogen mod nightly 138?

So I have CM nightly 138... and I'm like on my phone all day long and I'm a flashaholic and I love playing angry birds and those things are a battery killer so I just wanna know what the best kernel for battery life to use with this rom.

with kernels it is always YRMV. what works for me may not work for you. the only true way to know for you is to make a nandroid backup and try them out. but i will give you one to start out with. the tiamat sbc kernels has always been good for me when i was on cm7. i would start there. then maybe try the savage kernels.
 
I would start with tiamat 3.3.7 SBC. So far it is the best AOSP kernel I have found, give much better battery life than SV and the newer Tiamats. Like said already though, with kernels your results may vary.
 
Anyone running the rls1 synergy rom know a good kernel to pair with? I'm using the freedom 0.8 kernel right now, but not too sure if my battery life has gotten any better.

I am currently running the latest CM7 Nightly and am also an avid Angry Birds player. I have tried several kernels and so far I have found the best one is the Tiamat_EVO-v4.0.6-sbc. It gives me phenomenal battery life.

I charged my phone to 100%, then left it off the charger for 8 hours while I slept and it was only at 94% with wireless on, mail notifications running, and an alarm set. I played Angry Birds (all three versions) and some other games, checked my email, and did some browsing for about 4 hours and it only dropped to 74%. Throughout the day with some lighter usage, at about 15 hours, it was only at 65%.

Of course this is just MY experience. As with all phones, roms, and kernels, experience WILL vary. So just keep experimenting until you find what works for you.

I should also mention that my cpu settings are SMARTASS 128/1075 mhz which may contribute greatly to the battery life.

Try aggressive v.8.5 with interactiveX, I seem to get the best results with this;)

Have you tried 3.3.7 yet? A lot of people along with myself find that it gives better life than his newer ones.

I have not. I just figured the newest ones already had any bugs worked out from older versions. I will definitely give 3.3.7 a try.

Edit: I am now running 3.3.7 and .... I agree. There is a significant difference in battery life compared to 4.0.6! I'm going on 19 hours with 84% remaining with light usage.
