Well, I went for it. I installed the monster.zip, then rebooted, went into recovery, reinstalled the monster.zip (to get the GPS working), then installed the correct version of gapps. So far so good.
So your GPS works? I did. It how. U did and no gps
So the "monster" file will address any GPS issues?
I installed the initial beta and it went real smooth, just weather widget updates are fickle (probably due to GPS).
I installed using the sbf method. My GPS doesn't seem to be working and my fancy widget won't update location. So the "monster" file will address any GPS issues?

. Being a CM7 fanboi its real hard not to want to install this, but I think I will wait.
Were you on wifi when it appeared to be working? My GPS appeared to be working but it actually is not working. Using GPS Test it shows zero satellites.

No, just the 3G connection.
Ok. I'll wait to flash monster over my SBF setup. Doesn't seem to be fixing GPS.GPS doesn't work. Maps does but navigation does not. Anything that requires location fails for me as well. Fancy Widgets etc
Ok, I'm tempted to give this a look. So say with the monster.zip install, can you later restore a Nandroid of .596 Apex RC2 or do you have to SBF and start over the path to GB, Rom install, ect... ?
I flashed the monster file over brootcomb
