Ok, so I think I have found a bug.. it may be a bug with Android and not Cyan though..
When I went into the contacts on my phone, it is showing them all numerous times. Is there a way to fix this?

Edit- Something else, I noticed this rom does not have 3G mobile hotspot app included. I tried to flash the one from TBH, with no success, it said in recovery that it flashed but it ain't there. Is there any way to 'push' this app into the system?
 
ok ...i don't have a problem admitting when i was wrong....earlier this week i said i was going back to stock after loading CM7...however i got a little lazy and didn't feel like going back to stock and now i'm starting to like CM7.. its just too fast to not use.

one thing

where can i get the swype keyboard? Thanks in advance.

Easiest way to get swype in CM7 is to sign up for the beta. The newest beta is far better than anything that has been on a OEM ROM for the X to date.

Possibly you have Backup Assistant and Google accounts both backing up your contacts? I noticed when I accidently clicked on "sync Contacts" in both my main Google account (I shut off BA) and a different one with no contacts, I got doubles and my second account acquired all my contacts. Had to unclick the sync and go into Google to delete the doubles.

mine did the same thing and it really fubar'd my MMS sending out anything to one of the "multiple" contacts. Had to edit contacts manually and it was all good from there.
Also, this happened on other ROMS before I came back to CM7, i think it had something to do with google backup and having a backup on my SD card at the same time
 
Is it just my phone, or even with the all in one fix applied, when I go to watch a video, the video will play but it also locks up my phone
 
Just checking ("I know, I know, check the forums first") can I just go from Miui to CM with a wipe and flash? Or do I need to SBF back first. I think I know the answer but just want to be sure.

I couldn't get CM7 to install when I had MIUI running, rebooting into recovery put me in stock recovery and installing CM7 through ROM Manager failed as well, seems like the only way to get off it at the moment is to SBF.
 
The Droid X 3G hotspot is a Blur app, I believe it requires the Blur framework so you can't just install it on CM7.
 
my video will not play previous android versions, that may be your problem as well, i wish they would, but cant yet unfortunately :(
 
its my guess, is all, cause it does the same thing for me, some videos will play, but if they were on a different rom, or different android version of cm7 then it wont for some strange reason
