Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

I understand about ICS. Although, given that no one knows what's going into it, it could conceivably go either way. There is no hope in getting it from Moto, that's for certain. I can still have that glimmer of hope that some devs out there will come out with Cyanogenmod 8 and cram it onto our X, right? Right? Give me the glimmer!

FYI. The new market works on CM4DX.

Had some initial fc from gapps and had to reinstall facebook but it appears to be stable now.

update arfter letting it sit and boot loop for a while (the whole time i was asleep like 9 hours lol) woke up still bootlooping gonna sbf and start all over again after this much trouble i dont think ill be switching roms again for a while lol:D:D:D at one point was wondering how far a DX could fly

Lol! You werent' supposed to let it bootloop for 9 hours. I hope you have enough battery to sbf. I would be a bit leery.

just finished the sbf now im at the sbf boot loop lol i think my phones ******ed lol:D:D:D:D

doing the factory data rest now seems to be when i go to install apex is the problem it was plugged in the whole time i was a sleep so i was suprised it didnt die to lol



update got it to boot still got a full battery suprisingly

finally working and running making my adjustments to it now
 
Ok, the new market seems to have broken my Facebook app... Worked before, now stuck on 4 hours ago. Cleared cache, data and reinstalled. Still no go...

Broke mine too :(
No updates from FB....

I need FB app tp work so I downgraded the market, uninstalled FB, and re-installed....back to normal.
I stay on this until there is a fix...

I don't have any problems with the Facebook app and the new market. My last update was 34 minutes ago, and I installed the market about 4 hours ago. I will post back in the morning to let you know if it seems to not refresh.

And for the record, the new market is...well...yuck. I seem to be in the minority though. Maybe it will take some getting used to.

Put the new market on awhile ago and just checked facebook and I have updates from 2 minutes ago and I am getting around just fine. No issues at all.

Are you on the old facebook or the new one? The new one defaults to Top News and not Most Recent.
 
New one. Never had it default to top stories before but I had nothing new for a few hours. Had some other glitches previously so a wipe was in order. Smooth as buttah now.

you can move it to your computer to watch it with vlc or something, or you can use Rockplayer Lite in the market to play any video on your phone that you recorded prior to cm7.

Which option in Spare Parts allows me to enable the CRT transitions? I am currently on Nightly #25 and cannot seem to figure out how to enable them in Spare Parts.

You enable or disable them in the CyanogenMod settings, press the menu button >CyanogenMod settings >display, then place a check mark in the screen on and screen off boxes.
