Is it really working App?
It never asks for Superuser privileges..
Also..u put slider at any position, CPU benchmark app tells its 668 megs..

I feel this mtk test app just gives a psychological feel to the user that phone is over or underclocked..

I also felt same :p but check quadrant score its above 1000 :D

Gionne is overclocked till 806 Mhz So there is low battery performance :eek:
@ rudra mobile battery discharges when it is stand by mod also:p

awesome work....
i have one problem that my sensor is not working after this ROM... light doesn't goes off when i put my phone near ear(in simple words just blocking the sensor)... and something written in chinese on locked screen... rest all is working like a charm....

First of all thanks Ninad for a great work. I installed UB-A75-2_v3 on my mobile. But very next day I had to revert back to UB-A75-1 ROM. I found following problems in UB2 ROM:

1. Google partner error while starting up.
2. Showing no audio files on phone memory, in profiles. You have to choose ring tone from memory card. So it gives no ring if memory card is removed or phone is connected to PC in mass transfer mode.
3. Gives some Chinese characters in desktop screen.
4. Call receiving and hanging option have been reversed while receiving a call.
5. Does not show caller's name if no. is stored in 098..... Form and not in +9198...... Form.

Thing thing is like , It is (currently) impossible to have WP7 and Android dualboot on any mobile except HTC Leo ( Public name : HD2 )

WP7 is locked like .... Hell ...

Exploits in WP7 is extremely hard to find ... as it is based on Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 ... This is damn Hard :p Though there are some exploits, found, the boot-loader is still locked :D ... You need unlocked boot-loader for installing anything than the default OS :p ...

Even if u port, leave the drivers and other probs !!

Its simply impossible still !! -- though was possible for a very few devices on Windows Mobile 6.5 ... but WP7 is damn major release !!

I was using WM6 b4 going to Android as Experimental Device !! Micromax W900 to be specific :D ...

Already bricked it in the exp. of porting Android 2.1 I guess :D lol

Now its lying in some corner :p but I recollect it was a amazing device ...
some times i feel like Android < WM6 ... :D that's weird !!

just tell him to be patient or change the device :D

+ WP8 is going to have Windows NT kernel ... hence if he is a windows die-hard fan tell him to change it to WP8 !!

also i think WP7 is equally cool ... :rolleyes:

THANKS NINAD YOUR LONG EXPLANATION , HE WAS COMPLETELY REMOVE WINDOWS 7 AND WANT TO RUN ANDROID OS , I HAVE MICROMAX W900 ALSO
IT S POSSIBLE TO INSTALL ANDROID ?? THANKS :confused:

That is a well known problem of any Chinese phone...so it is a problem of UB2 cause its based on original chinese gionee rom.
 
Hey ninad your effort is appreciable But this not tempted me.....Because Theme manager is not there, also the boot is taking long time......and allays I preferred quick boot.......And the main thing is color combination of the theme is not only make it difficult to view what exactly written also make this version very cheap......also the weather widgets make me sad which snaps uploaded by rudrateja of widgets is actually i cant get after flashing by this version .......................\
Now i m going reflash for the old version................and waiting for next release
 
I first rooted my micromax a75 using ub2...i faced some problems among which was proximity sensor not working.. I then used ub1 but still the same problem of proximity sensor is there.. Is there any way to recalibrate proximity sensor.. Thanks

You can go to engineering mode and re-calibrate sensors.

BTW you can enter into engineering mode by dialing *#*#3646633#*#*
