Wow I have some seriously sucky speeds after changing things.

theres a little triangle next to rtsp proxy click it and replace rtsp.vog.sprintpcs.com with the zeros

same with httppd proxy address

Don't need to put zeros. I just deleted the value and saved.

I noticed HUGE speed increases as far as web browsing, opera mini itself i think is faster browser alone, plus w/out the proxy...i havent done any comparison tests though via speedtest

Didn't work for me. Also I wrote down the wrong number to type back into the phone if it didn't work (go figure) may I ask someone to give me the original numbers? I'm looking for the one that is under the DSS specifically.

In the EPST settings, if you select EVDO you will see DDTM. anybody know what this is?

I got my msl number and changed the proxies to 0.0.0.0 and now my phone won't play online videos. What happened here? But youtube still works.

Prior to this change they worked ? No other changes ...? Also what online videos ..could be DRM issue ..more info more help

Yes, online videos of nearly all formats would play, with some buffering. Now nothing does, not even through mx player. Local videos work fine. Youtube works better with the faster 3g.

same thing is happening to me, i changed the settings to get better 3G speed on my warp and noticed that online videos wouldn't play: it shows ( cannot paly video ), youtobe works fine

I finally gave up on all that and just started using Roms with all the latest greatest tweaks we have built right in, Try Warp OEM, It flies.!!!!

i found out why it didnt play videos online its cause we used the 0.0.0.0 on the proxy server but i changed back to its original sprintpcs.com thing an it worked...
And do i have to be rooted to use OEM or can it be used without it?
also how can i root my phone ive tried looking it up but there are some videos that use SUPER USER ; what does that do ??

Yes you need to be rooted to use Warp OEM. Use this simple one click method.

Super User, aka/ Super SU is just an app that allows other apps that need root access.
It allows and regulates the rooted apps.

I use TWRP as my recovery, although CWM is just as good. Totally different platform, but does the same things.
