Root better cache cleaning?

Everytime you load an app, many of it's class files are cached. Most class files are in the dalvik cache, but other files are cached as well (resource files, images, sounds, etc). The idea behind cache is to make programs run faster by having resources already loaded in active memory.

So as long as I don't clean the dalvik cache and cache partition I should be ok, right.
