Hey all you out there. big thanks to this forum and the ones that frequent.

(ocnbrezz dofuss 9to5 misubrent Mr ED and so many more) I used to be on this forum often but have not payed it forward it quite some time but the ones mentioned above along with so many others never stoped.. here is to you mr fix your phone at any hour quy. lol.. but much thanks my phone is so much more enjoyable thanks to you all

It's good to see you around here still (and with the same avatar too! :D).
+100 to this. This is by far the only forum I've followed for this long ever.

I went to the crackberry forums for about 50 posts before I got my BB, then quit.

I spend maybe 100 or so posts at an animation forum

and here I am almost a year after finding this site. What a great place, in no short part to the members and staff.

(I hope that when we all retire our evos, that we meet in some other superphone area again ;))

glad to see that you are live and well. beast. to bad the bolts had a bad year this year:(

what rom are you on these days? did you hear about ics coming? they are now in the alpha stages and they are getting close to being stable.
 
First up... bolts down baby.. second we suck lol I swore and lost $200 because Norv did not get fired. but #17 had a shitty year as well.. ...... no motivation coming from Norv year after year is becoming very tiresome.

Running CM7.. (man thanks to those guys solid rom ALWAYS) I ran energy for awhile along with some other 3.5 ports but found the amount of internal memory they require is not worth all the cool transitions. the snap of CM7 always has me sold.

As far as ics..mmmmmm man sorry to say I have no idea what that is lmao

ICS - Ice Cream Sandwich - the next android version. In the works -- Coming soon to a device near you.
 
Honeycomb? I think it was reserved for tablets, and I don't think the source was ever really made available... Not entirely sure.
 
ok ok I do remember now.. It never really took off in the smart phone world I take it..... so Ice Cream Sandwich.. lol any builds out yet to sample
 
I think there are a few - but they are pretty early builds. I'm waiting for at least a beta... probably something like a RC ... I always say I'm going to just wait for the final build 1.x release, but here I am, on Mikg 3.0 Beta 2. ;)
 
And from what I read, noone could get the honeycomb builds to properly work on the phones since it was built for tablets. Combine that with the fact that GB worked as well as/better than the HC builds that were attempted to be ported over, and I think it was just left to the dustbin... I do recall a big tah dah about it when it launched, but was then quietly put aside shortly thereafter once the GB ports were getting well sorted out

Hey 9to5. Just in case you weren't aware of it MikG 3.0 is a final release and out of beta. There are extra tweaks not in the beta 2 release.
 
From what I've read, ICS contains the code from honeycomb. It was included so the new version of android could be used on both tablets and phones. *I think* :D

No way.... I was about to post a thank you thread as well.

So Thanks to all of you, especially the senior members who put up with my stupid questions and panic threads at all hours. This forum has a behavior that I don't experience on all the forums in which I participate... The information just flows here and it's extremely helpful. Thanks again to all.

Cool cool, I saw that the tread was updated to a final release, but didn't check out those features, which I will be doing now.

I always end up flashing a beta and start using it and then don't want to flash out of it and lose anything :P
