I should have been more specific I was actually talking about the texting Theme

Are you asking how to install it or how to make your own? Installing is described in the OP and as for how to make your own theme for messaging or systemui, read over my posts in this thread. i've posted a link to a tutorial that got me started as well as some tools to use for compiling/decompiling, image editing and xml editing. The only thing i cant post a link to is patience. You'll have to come across that on your own. :p

nope. they should be red also. if you decompile the systemui, that png in drawable-mdpi should be red. same thing happened on the black and green one. i think that particular png is in the framework-res, which might be why it still displays white.

Why did android want to put headphones in framework instead of system ui? Don't they know they just made everything really annoying?

no idea. there are so many things that have some dependancy on this thing but this thing depends on that thing and so on and so on. but i do know there is a headphones png in framework.

similarly, there's a google talk png in systemui, but the only way to get your talk notification icon to be red or green or pink or whatever is to edit the same png that's in Talk.apk. So many redundant things going on.

do I need to edit the XML and png files to change colors in the LGUSMms.apk

yes, but your desired results may be reached by only editing one or the other. start with the stock LGUSMms.apk instead of the one i posted - i went to town with a tomahawk and doubled up on some edits, so working on mine may not give you the results you want. I'd suggest start with the png's since editing those are fundamentally easier than the xml's.

how do i get the background dialer all black .......thanks in advance

you would need to decompile LGContacts3.apk, edit the styles.xml or you could edit some png's in the drawable mdpi folder.

Contacts is more of a PITA than i care to deal with. I have a wedding to get ready for, musically and personally.

If anyone is up for a challenge, the color code i used for red is #ffff0000. Good luck!

Hey Samson now that I have a PC I want to edit some apks . what program did you use ? And also I just edit the XML right , or do I have to change the path of the color ? Thanks in advance

Its the Red twist on our stock SystemUI.apk. As with the Black and Green version, that blue glow is still there. Installation works the same as with the Black and Green flavor; copy the downloaded file, paste in /system/app. Set permissions to rw-r--r--, reboot, enjoy! As before, MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANYTHING!

It will affect your incoming call screen as well as the color of buttons and dialpad while you are in a call only!
