Ok, that's all for me.... Bummer that I'm gonna have to switch to a lesser ROM just to avoid this drama crap that seems to come along w/ this ROM. Later kids.

I have a better question for you...

When you are visiting a public forum with thousands of people that like to express their opinions (and it is their right to do so), is there a particular reason you are singling me out? I'm neither the thread creator in this instance, nor am I the only one who believes what BD did was wrong.

I would suggest you move on if you don't like reading my posts.

I maintain a zero tolerance policy for liars, as I find they are always repeat offenders...it's like this - finding that someone told you a lie is like finding a cockroach in your kitchen - you may only see one right now, but there are many, many more that you just haven't discovered yet.
 
I am NOT defending BD here for what he's done with the ROMS...but there is more to this story that has been mentioned on the new BD IRC channel, and soon on the new website from what I've seen. Seems BD is simply taking control of the website because of a disagreement and has a single colleague against the idea. Not much different than the ill-fated AllDroid.

Supposedly more emails from BD himself(not soccaplaya like the last one) explaining everything plus containing the new links is coming soon to the members/donators.

Again no poking at me needed.. I'm not defending the situation.. don't shoot the messenger:)

My point?.. there is wayy to much BS going on in the Android community:p
 
Yea I saw his explenation and I'm sorry but with his track record I'm not buying it...

...and it is funny but the only BS I ever see go on in the Android community seem to involve the name Black Droid...

Honestly though, with how often the guy's stolen things, I'm beginning to think he's actually a kleptomaniac and that would make me feel kinda bad (for a few seconds at least) for all the ridicule...

I'm not buying the whole story either, but it does sound sort of like what happened at AD.

Ohh, there's more BS going on, just Blackdroid's BS seems to be the largest and most popular lol
 
Man, I loved the UD "themes", but c'mon. Like ska said, there's always drama w/ this dude. I can overlook a lot, as I just want what's best from my phone, but there is def a limit on just how much nonsense I can tolerate.

I said the same thing earlier and you would think that it was an all out war. You can't go to one forum these days to speak to all developers or get all the news on the android community. With all of this crap going around these days you have to visit 6 different sites to track down the developer of your choice and follow their achievements.
 
I can see there is a lot of drama with this guy, but none of the other ROMs feature a black NexTheme(that I know of). So until Blackdroid quits I am using his ROM. Not because I like the guy or follow him, but because I like the theme. If it was on Cyanogen I would switch over.

I'm not sure what you mean... I do not see any crap going around with any developers BUT BD... There are always going to be different forums and the developers are going to post where they feel most comfortable. I have never had a problem finding a ROM or an Android forum that has them... I only use 3 forums, this one, CM, and droidforums... If a dev wants to get there ROM out they will more then likely post a link to it on one of those 3...

Just giving you guys an update. The owner of ultimatedroid.com within the last week was discovered to be misappropriating funds and also attempting to sell the site away from the community. Fortunately we were able to backup and recover all of the community's hard work before this could be accomplished.

Thats from his "new" site, anyways hes been going around saying ive been stealing his donations, he probably should have tried to make up a better lie I couldnt prove wrong because i have proof something hes never had whether it be from stealing roms or websites.

notice how he said week, well I included the whole damn month. as you can see the total amount of money I sent him this month is $100 the total on there is $90
This week goes back to the 9th which if you notice is the day i sent him the $100 and only received $15 after that on the 10th. So yeah i really stole $15 and the only reason that wasnt sent to him yet was because I like to try and send in amounts of $50 or $100 so that paypal doesnt lock my account.

So I suggest staying away from him unless you want to get screwed.
 
Not taking sides here:)

What of the accusation the the site was going to be sold?.. Curious as to where that came from..
