always fun to watch....
but hate to burst some bubbles...but...
take a razor to any glass.. try to scratch it... like they just did.
really.. wow.. glass dont sratch...
glass is very hard... as one of its properties.
only something harder than glass (or another piece of glass) can scratch it.
normal razors and keys... softer than glass.

sand.. is glass... therefore... same hardness...
and yes.. it is a screen killer!

It was nice, but we still have gorrilla glass...EVO has to rely on screen protectors.
Will the HTC Shift rely on screen protectors too?
Are you all implying that just because the EPIC has gorilla glass, you don't need a screen protector? I mean, yes it's a lot more scratch resistant; but it's no replacement for something like an InvisibleShield.
I am a huge invisible shield fan, had one on my iPhone and my EVO when I had them. Well when I put one on my Epic, it made the screen look terrible and pixilated in a sense. I don't know if its because of amoled screen instead of regular LCD but man it looked bad. I kept trying to convince myself that all was good and I was overreacting but two days later I peeled it off and couldn't be happier. What makes the amoled great is its incredible color palette and how bright they are, the Inv Shield seemed to cover it all up and make it seem cloudy and dull like a normal LCD. I didn't have this problem with the iPhone or EVO but this time around it was no go.

Completely wrong.Well this just backs up the fact that screen protectors are going to be a thing of the past. Now if we could just get them off store shelves we could have room for the stuff we actually wanna buy.
Completely wrong.
There are many folks here who thought as you did and now regret not getting a screen protector, having suffered scratches on their beautiful phones.
It's foolish not to spend a few bucks to get cheap protection.
The best screen protectors imho are Phantom Skinz. My screen still feels and looks naked but has the added protection of the smooth and crystal clear Phantom Skinz.
Plus it keeps the oils and other garbage off the screen. Even without screen protector, the naked screen will look nasty over time with the grease, oils and other debris from human hands.
