Help Bloatware Concerns

On the iPhone there is an app called "Poof!" that can "hide" crapware like stocks etc

in my head .. there is a button that "ignores"...

Poof.. only hides... so it is still on your phone.. taking up space. which does not do anything for me.

Class action in the works...

Eh great... everybody gets a $25 credit on their bill the lawyers get a $10 million dollar check and your carrier raises the monthly price by $5 to cover it all.. then in 5 years we repeat and your price continues to go up over and over. Some people define this as "progress".

WTF! This is why I got rid of my iPhone. I don't like being told how to use a device THAT I bought and paid for!

ATT should be paying me every month to have that CRAP on MY device. AND... they will wrench down on you if you use too much.

I don't mind paying for CELL SERVICE with ATT, just let me use it how I want (like WiFi Hotspot)

Starting to feel like when I had my iPhone, I went to Android, because it was the coolest OPEN source OS... I was WRONG!

It *is* surely the coolest OS, but the carriers remain the same. They want control, and you need to take it back, freeing your software by installing custom ROMs. In an ideal world it would be that way out of the box.

I think that android is way better then the iphone just for the fact that it is open source and that google encourages and supports the dev community. its the carriers that creates issues. finally after many months we can now root our evos. i would highly suggest that you try it. it will really unlock the power of android.

and yes android does take some time getting used to things. it is not as use friendly as the iphone, but i always like messing around with my devices.

just out of curiosity are you having issues that need addressing?
