Help Blue banding when scrolling on my new GNex

When I reach the top or bottom of a screen I get a splash of blue color where I was scrolling. Is this standard on this phone or is it an issue I should address with VZW? thanks

Some have it, some don't. Some argue its a side effect of pentile screens, others call foul. Here's one of the larger threads I know of on the subject:

Fwiw, I don't experience this issue with my phone so all I can go by is pictures.

Scrolling what? Stock browser?

It briefly does like a subtle blue highlight to signify that's the end of the page.

Its scrolling "overflow" and is normal. GingerBread has it also. Part if the UI

edit: and Tim K's explanation is why it does it. To signify end of page

Ohhhh, the replies above are right. I skimmed your post and thought you were experiencing the "bad" type of banding some have complained about. The blue overflow you were referring to is a function of the OS as mentioned. Sorry about the confusion, posting from my mobile AND at work.
