Help Bluetooth auto-connect

If I turn the phone's bluetooth on first and then the headset, it connects automatically. But if I have my bluetooth headphone on and then turn on bluetooth on the GNote, nothing happens. Is it supposed to work like that? Did I skip a step when I paired the device to the GNote. All I did was turn on the device (while bluetooth was on on the GNote) and once the device showed up on the phone I tapped the device name and viola.

No idea, mine works either way.

What headset you using?

I had tested this with 2 differnt Plantronics and a Jawbone with no issues.

I'm using an LG Tone for both music and calls. It didn't require a pwd to pair either.

Never used an LG for anything. Hope someone else with an LG can test.

The latest samsung devices do not properly autoconnect if bluetooth is toggled off on the phone. Re-pairing is neccessary

The only solution is to reboot or leave bt on.
