Bluetooth won't turn on

When I got into my car yesterday I noticed my bluetooth wouldn't turn on. I thought maybe it was the CurveFish bluetooth widget so i uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still won't turn on.

It doesn't help to go into the phone's settings and turn it on from there either... I tap "Turn on bluetooth" and it hangs for a few seconds like it's activating but then goes back to the off state.

Does anyone know a solution to this other than a factory reset. (of course i tried restarting the phone and taking out the battery already.) Is this common?

dude, my htc hero is doing this now...i have no idea what from...the widget just spins and never turns on. i've tried everything but hard reset. if i hafta hard reset this i'm gonna just flash a 2.1 rom. i'm tired of 1.5 and all its issues.

Wow. Ok I did a Factory Reset on my phone and the Bluetooth still won't turn on. D:<

Does this mean it's definitely a hardware problem and I need to send it back to Tmo? Ugh.

Are you rooted or is this problem on a custom factory phone?

This is on a factory clean phone. Not rooted.

Then there is problem with your phone. Get it replaced.

I have this problem too! What should I do? I, m sure that it is not hardware problem!
