It would seem to me that a new version of CM7 would run much better with it. But I don't have the slightest idea.
 
I just received the update right now. But I'm holding out. I like my set up. I will see how others like it and what all will happen with the updated version. I don't want to lose my. Stuff lol
 
When I flashed Kouma's EJ06 files to my phone, the Shabby OCR worked great. I had to do a factory reset from the Privacy menu a couple times to get my account setup right, but I'm all good to go now...
 
okay so I've tried out the new GB version and i think there is much better integration of features, seamless operation of drivers and hardware, if prevail had come this way to begin with i think there would have been more satisfaction in the ranks...

that said, me being the person i am, i dont stay satisfied with things as they are for long so as far as i'm concerned it's great for what it is but give me my CM7 or whatever the new mod is or rom or whatever...i bought it let me do with it what i want to :)

I am glad that the prevail is finally getting GB but personally i am very satisfied with the CM7 beta and will definitely hold off on the update until more developers do what they do and make some GB based Roms and hopefully a official cm7 port until then i will be looking forward to another cm7 beta version from hroark and they are definitely reading the thread no way its a coincidence lmao
 
these are just the modules that must be added into a kernel first before they will function properly

I am pretty sure Kouma is working on a Kernel, but I am not 100% certain

I made those modules for him, and anyone else who want to re-pack a new kernel

I am way to busy with the CM stuff to make a kernel

Yeah, I'm slapping together a quickie kernel. I figured that the ext module wasn't so strictly version dependent. Most modules I've looked at code for did an >= so the kernel only had to be a minimum version (I think it also allowed for kernels compiled with custom version strings tacked onto the end, like my Ubuntu setup that runs "2.6.38.8-koumajutsu+")

your ext4.ko returns "init_module 'ext4.ko' failed (Exec format error)"

I made a kernel it has ext4 support as well as the other things I listed before.

Yes this is cwm flashable.

Once you flash it you can use dark tremors however I am unsure which version works with it, before I made this I tried the official beta4 it didnt work so I flashed the modified by inigo again it didnt work so I started investigating and found it was not seeing my ext4 so I used hroarks modules and edited the init.rc.
I flashed this kernel and my ext4 a2sd was seen an working.:D
 
this does not work with link2sd. i'd rather not use a2sd due to prior nightmares. any possibilites of getting this to work with link2sd?
