Getting your msl code
-first download alogcat from playstore
- then Set a filter with the word code
- next open your dial pad and enter ##3282# and simply view any thing
- now return to alogcat and your msl code shows in red.

Simple right? Also easy way of changing proxy and ip's.

Here's MY QUESTION. WHAT OTHER TRICK OR CHANGE CAN BE MADE IN THIS MENU TO INHANCE THE WARP AND ITS PERFORMANCE??

Even easier.. long press on your home screen, click Shortcut, then click Activities, now scroll down to HiddenMenu and add a shortcut for whatever you need in there. No MSL needed.

After shortcuts their is no activity selection and no where near a hidden menu.
Im running stock unrooted rom

Even easier download meid calculator from play store and it will calculate your msl/spc from your meid...

For those that already have our msl codes and understand how to edit that menu id really like to know what else can be chaged to better our phone.. ill give that app a try ill report back in a few min

Just tested the meid converter methid. Very simple and much easyer.
Settings/about phone/status/meid (write it down)
Open meid converter type in meid select calculate and their it was. Simple steps and hopefully this topic will become usefull for future noobs

I was running wp7 rom with next launcher and dtm oc kernal 1
.7 ghz. But i got tired of it and i decided to return to stock warp rom without root.

Oh yeah, you need a better launcher to do it. The stock one is pretty locked down.

Yeah it is. Its all good im hoping a new cynogin rom releases for the warp soon. Other than that im sticking with stock for a bit

using stock rom doesn't prevent you from using a better launcher... try adw.. lots of themes for it, its light and you can customize pretty much everything about it through its settings... it is actually cyanogen's choice of launcher... ... with it you can add custom shortcuts to activities and there is quite a few hidden settings menu that can be accessed through it...

Got the hidden menu up and going. Found a selection that says port add you can choose from ums or dm. You guys have any idea what thats for or what it does?

I think DM lets you use phone as modem via USB cable.

Is their another ip we can use in the browser ip selection? So far we've covered getting the msl code, changing multimedia ip, and the dss ip. What other tweaks can we add on?

All depends...if you get decent signal in your home...I wouldn't even change anything. When i had a warp blanking out the proxies had a significant speed increase...(leaving Ports alone) Anyone who knows please jump in, my optimal settings i ran were a long time ago, the warps been warped since ;p.

Htc evo design 4g on boost still. Iv tried meid converter using alogcat and since iv yet to root due to no pc i cant use the terminal emu or the meid finder

Sorry bud I mainly have experience with the warp. If the methods on this thread aren't working you can always try YouTube or my second favorite Site xda developers.com. If your looking to root your evo you don't necessarily need your msl code. I just recently rooted my evo 3d and I don't have my msl either. Hope you find a solution bud and thanks for stopping by my thread.
