That file is from 2011, posted by interdepth, he hasnt been online here since october of last year. We now have a much better one click root method you can download it here.

These files were posted by interdepth in 2011, You will have to send him a PM for them
unless someone else can upload them for you. interdepth has not been online since late last year.
We have a better one click root now

No, you don't need a dropbox. But it is weird that you can't download, it should be active, always...

There is an easier root method, you don't even need the drivers. It'll get you root and custom recovery in one flash, gimme a minute to find ya the link

Use this instead
much easier and I wish I had known about it when I rooted, I used SnakeX's method and while it is very simple... the one in the quoted link is much easier still When downloading, download it over Wi-Fi and not your phones mobile data connection or else the file will become corrupted and you'll encounter problems. Wi-Fi is much more reliable and will prevent you from having issues when installing the file
