Sometimes the Boost network just doesnt want to work for us properly, Try a fix permissions and clear both caches in your recovery program.

I have the same problem once in a while no matter what rom I use

Also do a update profile, prl.

I have had mms messages just sit for hours until I long press the message, hit edit, then re-send.

You were right it was Boost network issue.3g signal is very weak in my area.

I'm having the same trouble right now. Decent signal, missed calls and play store keeps timing out.
