Root [Boost Mobile] blinking red LED

Well-Known Member
when i charge my phone the red LED light comes on. I have noticed that sometimes when it is charging the red LED light will start to blink. when this happens the phone is on the charger for approximately 10 to 30 minutes. i know my phone isn't over heating the battery temp is 91-93 deg F. i have used a few different apps to determine this. Also, i have gone into clock work mod and did the advanced/wipe battery stats. i have cleared my delvick cache. also in the setting i have turned off all notification blinks. i have not gotten this to stop the problem is intermediate . i tired looking up my problem in http://support.boostmobile.com/user_guides/userguide_warp.pdf with no luck. if anyone can shed some light on my problem i would greatly appreciate it. or if any one has an idea to get this to stop or whats going on.

Mooseberry, when its blinking, do you have a message? Mine will blink if i have a text/email.

no sir nothing is in my notifications i have no emails, sms, mms, alarms or new voice mails or anything and i turned off all notification blinks in setttings/display/notification blinks. i deselect all the options. :)
??

Have you tried a new charger? It might be a loose charging port or bad plus. Aside from that i know my phone blinks red for notifications: email, whatsapp, over heating, or just things you download from the market that push notifications. Aside from all these i would call zte and ask them if its common or is an issue that should be resolved.

alsaces, i have tried may different cables and chargers i even got a new battery. I guess sending off an email is my last hope :( just dont know how to explain to them that my phone is rooted and rooting didnt cause this. I could always lie but i didnt want to. :p
shinru thanks for the tip, but i dont use yahoo.
bricky i wish it was over heating lol then i could figure out whats going on.

THANK YOU TOO ALL TRYING TO HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHATS GOING ON I REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT!!

Ave you tried unrooting your phone? Flash a back to stock zip and do the usual clearing and fixing permissions. I think we have a couple here from hroark that aren't rooted. This is the last ditch effort to see if its anything but hardware. I would hate to have to send my phone off too. :(
