Root [Boost Mobile] CM9 for Warp Development thread

so my question - is the best place to start with the compile errors or with a installed build and logcating? Ill do either and if there is a better approach of some other place I should begin working let me know

Figuring out the memory issues is a good place to start, in either the kernel source or cm source

my twrp source is on my desktop, but i think i pushed it to github before everything went down between me and my ex.... go ahead and check... idk though, everything there is not updated and hasnt been for months.... I just got finished downloading the software to my laptop, installed linux mint, and am now back in business methinks, I just need to download my device tree off of github... but it's not the new one, which is on my desktop too.... anyone have an updated device tree they are willing to give me so i can continue work, preferably with working RIL....*cough*downthemachine*cough*
 
made some edits to cm, tryin to add bluetooth and wifi... but... FOR SOME REASON THE ENTIRE DEVICE TREE IS MISSING FOR ME... even on cm7.. i dunno why its not letting me download the entire device tree, my source for cm7 and 9 have some dependencies from htc mecha and motorola triumph... so i cant build till I can get those device trees... damn i wish i had my effing desktop... damn damn damn... :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
Your github, I was wondering if he was missing files from your device tree
 
ok, ima download all that as soon as i can, then start work again on it when I get home from work. I was doing cm7 before, easier starting point for me at the time, but the icecream sammich looks too tasty to resist

Im downloading the MTDEV cm9 right now while im at work, hopefully it fixes all of the issues I have been having with missing dependencies and such. Also, looks like ima haveta do alot of work to get bluetooth and such working, maybe if I use the wifi driver off of the motorola triumph instead of the one on our phone, I might get wifi working using the same code that they had when they made cm for the triumph. I mean the triumph and the warp use the exact same driver, prolly just different settings in the init.rc.... Might have to furthur test to see, I remember managing to get wifi to work a long time ago, but it wouldnt connect to anything, wouldnt scan, etc etc and it was just a few edits in the init.rc that did it for me... but i dun remember those edits... I CANT WAIT TO GET MY EFFING COMPUTER BACK DAMMIT
