Here's my situation:
My mom was in a parking lot when she dropped her Warp and it got run over by a car that was pulling out, everything is okay with the phone except for the broken screen and the digitizer probably. I convinced her to get a new one instead of getting the SII (it was on sale at radioshack
), but she had some very important unsaved numbers in the phone before it got run over.
I tried rooting it using SnakeX's root method, but it doesn't work. I figure unknown sources must be off, but usb debugging is enabled so I can at least run adb commands.
Now, the big question:
Can I control the screen through adb to make it so I can recreate touches on the screen as lines in adb? I've seen it done before, but I couldn't seem to catch on to it. I need to get to that option so I can root it, make a nandroid, and put it in the new Warp so she can have her unsaved numbers back. Any help is very very greatly appreciated
