I have a boost zte warp... It's driving me insane... Trying to root it but it seems that this phone is against me... I downloaded superuser, and root checker pro is telling me "ROOT ACCESS IS NOT PROPERLY CONFIGURED OR WAS NOT GRANTED." it's telling me "ROOT USER ID AND GROUP ID STATUS: SU BINARY NOT FOUND OR NOT OPERATING PROPERLY." So I tried rebooting, I also tried to start the whole process over and nothing seems to change... "ADB SHELL DEFAULT USER IS CONFIGURED AS: NON ROOT USER." My ingenious guess would be that I should have established a user ID somewhere... And no, I'm not blonde in case you are curious... What did I miss? I'm without a phone until I can get this thing up and running... My insurance sux so I have to go back to the ZTE... SOS!!!

I've moved your post here to the Warp/Boost root forum where you can get some expert help. 
Not sure of your steps there - if you simply installed superuser from the Play Store, that's not going to work, rooting installs a system binary to work with that app (the app is really just the front-end for that binary).
Please let us know which version of software your phone is running, it's under settings, about as I recall.

Do you have custom recovery?

You can download the n00b ROM, placing it on your SD card. Then hold the volume up button during restart to enter the stock recovery console. From there, all you have to do is point the console to the n00b ROM, and it will install. N00b is unique in that it roots your phone and installs the custom recovery all at once during installation. From there you should be good to go, root-wise, then you can stay on the n00b ROM or flash whatever ROM you want (even flash back to stock) and your root and custom recovery will remain untouched

You first need to boot into recovery, Power button / volume up button.
Next, do a factory data reset, clear both caches. Phone should now be stock.
