How can I change the carrier name or delete it altogether?

I'm running CTmod 3.80 and I want to get rid of the carrier name so it looks cleaner.

I've messed with the build.prop and the init.arthur.rc file, but nothing worked. Is it somewhere in the res.apk?

That would be great! I do remember Noob didn't have the carrier name, so MrBobo might know something.

In the meantime, I'll mess with the kitchen and see what I can find.

I searched this forum several times, Our search this forum function isn't what it used to be. :mad: I dont know what happened to it, but it is almost useless now. A google search works better.:(

I copied his files and put them into a copy of my phone's framework-res.apk, changed permissions and then replaced the original framework-res.apk, but no success. My Warp keeps boot looping right before it gets to ready to get to the home screen. :(

Anyways, I was able to get to the recovery manually and restored my phone. I think I'll just leave it like it is, I'll just download holo locker or something. Oh and I might give that app a try LilBit.

Maybe because you're on a different firmware version that he made the files for? If, for example, he made them for B08 then you could do a differential compare between the stock B08 file and his modification to see what changed, then implement that change in the new firmware.

Cool, I'm running CTMod myself right now as a daily, But with all the new stuff coming out It;s hard to stay on one rom!!

I know what you mean I'm thinking maybe I should just use CM10 as my daily driver now just because I love it so much and im stuck between BLVCKHLO's new rom (I hope I got his user name right) and staying on CTmod with his mods... the Warp scene is really flying today!

I was having some trouble, but I finally got it working.

The lock screen scripting was pretty simple but very picky about what was there. If I remember correctly I couldn't remove the entry for the ID without causing FC's so I changed the size value to 0.
