I dont have a Clockworkmod/backup folder. Can I just install from ZIP through recovery mode?

No... it doesn't work that way... the folder will be automatically created after you make a backup... or you could manually create it... sdcard/clockwork mod/backup

i installed the third nandroid option at the top of this post and it worked just fine. When I try to install the second option,(it has some modifications I would like to have) I get an md5 error. Could I just copy the one from the install that worked?

I tried that and didnt work. Im still getting a MD5 mismatch error when restoring to RC2. I even reinstalled CWM. Still getting the error. Any suggestions?

The md5 time has to be the.folder name look on the thread need help please i posted screenshots to show

Okay check the md5 (inside the backup folder) long press click properites and read the modified time like this
Then go back and rename the backul folder like this
But dont use those numbers use whatever your date and time are NO SPACES or it wont work

boot into recovery cwm and go to advanced and.press fix permissions

i did that and it didnt work. I do know that this happened with RC1 as well. But it did not happen with the third restore option. If that helps any.

You must have the newer warp... I had the same problem... you have to flash a file hroark posted a while ago... give me a sec and ill find you a link
