Yeah I did. They are trying to help him. The phone wont go into recovery and android commander isn't recognizing the phone.. They are working with the last option now before giving it a time of death.. Luckily I can tell he has a pretty knowledgeable person on his forum to help.. unfortunately it may be a done deal

Oh and on a completely different different subject "this is why we are soo diligent on unheard of people releasing roms w/o screenshots or anything.."

Because flashing something to your phone that's not meant to be there could give a pricy piece of equipment an early retirement

Yeah this had nothing to do with you.. I was just pointing out it can be a similar situation flashing from an unknown source.. Which is what he did only by his own mistake.

When you think about it he probably checked out your change log and screenshots, and comments on the rom and everything..

Your rom looked so inviting people with other phones come here to flash it :D (not intended to be insensitive to his situation)

Like here's a good comparison.

Let's say a banned member or a meat puppet profile created 3 days ago and for some reason was mad about getting banned from the forums.. So the profile has 15 posts and 5 likes.. None of us ever heard of him before.

He posts [ROM] cm9 or whatever he chooses in our Warp section ..
But it's really a rom for LG Esteem (on purpose or not)
-screenshots or not

A few of us download and flash it and our phones are bricked.

Could that have been possibly avoided by us checking the profile and using it as a red flag? I believe so

Edit: by the way thought I'd mention progress is being made in unbricking clouds phone. Fuzzy is sticking it out

We could also put in our updater scripts a line to check the device profile. To make sure its a warp

Oh snapp, Apollos thread is on the move again
