Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] ALIENWARP v2.0.2 (Update v2.0.3 released)

Just wanted to drop in and apologize that i havn't been around to keep up on my rom.
I've got too much going on right now to work on this but I'm hoping to get back to it when things calm back down.

Great ROM! Runs very smooth and passed all tests I've thrown at it. My only little complaint is I keep getting asked to update Holo but I know if I do I'm going to lose the alien icons on the scroll bar at the bottom. Just curious as to why you chose not to go with the paid version of Holo?
 
Im aware itll be a bit yet but can you include the new software update in the next version and ill ask again tho most seem to think it pointless can we get a tablet version of this rom
 
I'm sorry I've been too busy with life to get any updating done on the rom.
Ill try to work on the update into future work but for now my dev worm is on pause.
Im not going to make a tab version sorry.

Sorry but im unable to get dev work done right now.
Using the paid version in a rom is illegal but you can upgrade if you get the pay app from the market. Thats what i did.
 
If I do that will I be able to keep the themed icons? I kinda like the aliens lol. Yeah I figured it was legal issues lol. Still great Rom and sad the tablet version won't be coming. The kernel runs very good on the warp and has stoppedo all the locking up issues I was having with the factory rom. So after updating holo to paid, do I need to reinstall alien themes somehow?
 
How to change keyboard? trying to switch to A.I.type Keyboard Plus, TypeSmart 2.0 or Go Keyboard wont none of them stick.

I think you'll lose the PlayStore icon but everything else has stayed the same, or you could switch them in editing (long press icon, choose edit) Playstore icon isn't in there tho!

I had the same problem, I used Titanium Backup and made the keyboard I wanted a system file, rebooted and it showed up in my keyboard selection. I did have to check the box again after a shutdown, but since then (2 Months), I haven't had to redo it again.

First of all thanx for this, probably the best Rom I've used, especially because of the overclock. Second, is the default alien wallpaper in a resource file or something? I would like to be able to switch back to it. Maybe you wouldn't mind linking the wallpaper here?

Tigatron you are amazing for this rom this is my first root but i fix laptops

anyways do u know of a rom clocked at 2.ghz or 2.2 thats stable caus i feel 1.7ghz

still has alot of headroom again u are the best

Yup. Any higher and its simply not stable. Amazing that you said its got more head room....you've basically gotten 80% more from a CPU that has no heat dissipation. Working on computers and laptops are not the same thing.

It's not a big deal, but I'm having a problem remounting /system as read only. I've tried root explorer, and using:

mount -o ro,remount -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblkOp15 /system
And both say "mount: device or resource busy".
I don't really need it ro, but I like to have control over my phone and it works on other roms.
 
The W key on the keyboard is not working when the phone is in portrait mode but works when I switch it to landscape mode. It is only the w key that is not working, all the other keys work. Any help will be greatly appreciated

If it always done this since you switched to this ROM I would think its a bad flash. Did you restore any old data? Speaking from experience, this ROM doesnt like data being restored from Titanium Backup.
 
It actually just started doing it, I have had this rom on the phone for about 1 week now. I did restore old data using clockwork mod and everything have been working fine till now so I was thinking maybe it might be a hardware problem. I think that it might have something to do with the touchscreen itself so am i trying to see if there is a better way to try to re-calibrate the screen again?

Thats weird! Never heard on here someone having to re-calibrate their screen. I think I'd try to wipe the caches and see if that does anything. Tigatron has been off the forum for a little while but pops up occasionally. Maybe if you PM with ur problem he'll know what to do.
