Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] DroidSmith 1.7.3 Update and Full

I was originally going to theme the toggles so they are green like most everything else in the rom but was thinking that that might be overkill
 
Tried it out! Sick! Solid too :) I might run this for a little bit (running AOEM, but want to try some other stuff too) while I finish my build.
 
Looks like my modified browser has a few issues that I didn't catch prior to release. Sorry everyone. For the mean time please download your preferred browser from the market. DroidSmith used Boat Browser in earlier builds. I am now working on modifying the browser to incorporate some of the features from CM7
 
this isn't anything major, but i was wondering if you disabled automatic option in date&time settings. i try to click on it and nothing happens. awesome work btw and ty for adding power toggles to notification

No problem. You have to give the users what they want, or you don't have users. I have not messed with anything on the date and time yet, so I am thinking it was likely that way on stock B10. Once I finish up the new browser I will take a look at it

Yes, it's that way stock. Unless you open up the manual options in your settings menu, it stays grayed-out by Android.
 
lol so they put a settings option in then disable it... thank god for our devs!

Lol! Well maybe I should explain a little further. The option is functional, unless you hate a network time source available... which with 3G on is just about always :p If I recall correctly, this option becomes available if you have no service on the device. However, if you modify the settings menu's XML files as I did in Warp OEM, you can make the time zone option available anyway, regardless of the system's auto-time-set stupidity, however I don't recall if you can make the time set option available or not.

The details of doing said modification is a little involved for the scope of this post, but if you decide to tackle this, feel free to reference the WOEM settings APK and reverse engineer it to see all the modifications I made to it and how they work. I would post some screenshots, but I'm right in the middle of editing some smali in VTS and I really don't wanna close the project right this second lol

If you need more info, though, I'll be happy to go into more detail at a later date :)
