Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] DroidSmith 1.7.3 Update and Full

I will take a look at it. The last time I ran lightning launcher I really liked it, but I can see how many people would be turned off by the amount of configuration that is involved.

I think you're right, only geek people would like it because initial setup.

My next goal is either toggles or CPU control in the settings menu similar to cyanogenmod. Once I have both integrated I will be a lot more felixble with the apps that are in the rom, and may make some zips to swap out system apps.

CTmod has no init.d2 folder by default and uses Dm47021's alien kernel. You can drop any init.d script in the init.d folder and it should work, so no init.d2 folder is necessary.

The next version of Warp OEM will have a tweaked version of PowerNap as well - I'm doubling the default speed to eliminate some of the wake lag.

Granted I haven't checked with the dev, but I believe it works on CTMod because what is labeled "init.d" is actually init.d2. I'm guessing he eliminated init.d and just made everything run from init.d2 by default; hence PowerNap being able to work from within init.d on that ROM.

...or I could be completely wrong. Both are possible :P

As always, feel free to reference Warp OEM's settings app for those features if you want :-)

I bumped the Max speed to 368 and have had decent results. I was planing adding a few lines to adjust the governor while powernap is running

New update posted. DroidSmith version 1.4.5. Battery life is improved thanks to a modified version of Mercury's powernap script. The battery life may not be as good as the original powernap, but there is no lag at all. The boot.img has been retooled to support both init.d, and init.d2 scripts. The default io scheduler is remains at noop. Sio is not supported with the kernel I am using, however there is a version of alien kernel tailored for DroidSmith available if this is a must have item. Benchmarks remain about the same as previous version, but somehow this version feels a little more snappy. I wanted to provide more with this update and thought I would be able to push out DS 1.5, but I am having with the USB port on my warp, and its about to undergo surgery. If my warp pulls through version 1.5 should not be to far out.

P.S. LilBit, didn't forget about you. DSPowenap is in the development section of my thread.
