Reporting in I'm still having the problem with the Charging and it keeps freezing as well as when I use instagram it freezes too D:
 
I just woke up and my phone has been at 100% for a while now since I've had it charging and plugged in all night, I'm not having the problems with instagram either. Maybe battery calibration would help? Its just a guess but maybe deleting the batterystats.bin file will fix it.

EDIT: what have you tried so far to fix it? I need to know so I can start ruling things out. About instagram, I have it on my phone, and it works fine. But I noticed that if you restore apps from titanium backup, sometimes 1-2 restored apps stop working and they require a reinstall. It happened to me with Facebook and a reinstall fixed everything. I'll do some reaserch on the battery problem because I had problems with charging before on other phones with Cyanogenmod or another custom rom on it but never the freezing at %100.
 
Working on a 2.95 update and possibly a 3.0 update, both for tonight! :D gonna include more theme tweaks, and hopefully the ics boot animation will work now. Also gonna work on adding in the dpi changer (credits to Jimsmith80, go say thanks on his rom thread if you haven't already because if not for him tethering wouldn't have been possible on this rom or others either :D), and probably a few other things will be tweaked a bit more. Stay tuned ;)
 
Gonna skip 2.95 and gonna work on 3.0, but it'll take until saturday as I'm volunteering to help at a drum corps show tomorrow, I'll see what I can do on the go from my phone to push development a bit further however unless I can finish up quickly tonight.

Man (bears rehashing), I'm really happy to see that you are working so avidly and being so productive with this project. I figured once you cut your teeth on moding you would make this rom awesome (it was inevitable as you were getting the ropes from theming, it was just a small step forward).

It looks very popular with users too. Everything looks almost bugless, most reported errors are user errors. Awesome.

I just got a dev unit, so I'm going to download your latest build and see what you have been up to, can't wait :)

The higher the CPU speed, the faster the response time of the phone. Personally I run mine at 1.4GHz, but folks go higher all the time with no issues. As for the I/O scheduler, SIO is a good choice as it's one of the most stable available.

Also, the version does show 2.51 when you're actually on 2.53. Some forgetful dev (darn it, Mercury...) didn't update the version number in the build.

I'm going to try to see if I can add a full set of JB wallpapers into the stock wallpaper chooser then add it in this rom, along with Alien 4, and a couple of fixes in the theming, and of course after updating the build number to Halo Jelly 4 :) and a few other surprises ;)
