Need all of this asap! J.K. lol but I love all of this can't wait for halo bean 6 :D

HaloBean 6 isn't gonna come any time soon, unfortunately. But, when it does come, I can almost guarantee its gonna blow every other version waaaay out of the water. And I need all of this too right now, I'm trying to get this phone to get a score past 10,000 in AnTuTu... I may remove all tweaks and scripts and add in three flashable packs: GodMode Pack, to push this phone past its limits, LifeMode pack to push the battery life and keep it going for maybe a full day or two, and a StabilisPack to provide a good balance between the two. I don't think its likely that I'm going to go through all that, I'm probably going to create an app to control this then add it to Settings. Gotta do my reading though.

What does the scouter say about his Antutu score?

It's overrrrrr ten thoouuuuuuusaaaaaaaandddd!!!!!!!

This latest release candidate rose 300 points in quadrant standard... No more antutu tests, quadrant only from now on. Gonna push this to 4k

EDIT: Almost finished with Zero Point Four, if it works then it will be the Halobean 5 final, then I'll push out small updates as necessary. And a few big jumps too. I just gotta set the right permissions and I should have it up by tonight for testing.

I HAVE FIXED BATTERY LIFE!!
Sorta.
Turns out it just required for me to actually calibrate -___-
So, if you're like me and you're too lazy to calibrate battery when you flash a new Rom... I very much advise you to calibrate. 5.0.3 is working great in terms of battery for me now, dunno about you guys.

How do we calibrate the battery??

Welcome to HaloBean ROM! :D
A Jelly Bean styled ROM based off Android 2.3.5, HaloBean (originally Halo Jelly) is the continuation of BLVCKHVLO's Halo ROM.

DISCLAIMER: I, Skinnyjeans21 nor BLVCKHVLO (the original creator of this rom) are NOT responsible for any damage, bricked phones (hard brick or soft brick), data loss as a result of not backing up data properly before flashes, or thermonuclear war as a result of flashing this. YOU (the user of this rom) are hereby responsible for anything that happens to your phone after flashing this. Besides, I usually test things myself before releasing for others to test anyways unless I have a broken USB Cable or something.

Comments, suggestions? Post 'em here!
Issues or concerns? Those go here too! Others may be having similar problems too, so I ask that questions and such not be sent via PM, only through this thread for open discussion. Also, if you want to use parts of this rom (such as theming) for your own rom or for personal modifications to your rom, that is fine, but if it is released here on AF or anywhere else, remember to give credit for it! Plagiarism is one of the things that really grinds my gears and I don't take lightly to it.

Enjoy the ROM! :D
Now I have noticed that whenever I try to answer a call with my headphones including the ones specifically made for calls will not work. When I switch back to WCS it works...any suggestions?

I'm not sure, I've been wondering that myself... I've gotta figure out where the file to change that is...
Gonna add to my to do list for HaloBean 6

Hey guys, back from the dead... sorry I haven't been on lately, had a lot of things to deal with in school, with my family, some friends, marching band... but, I'm almost done with a new release that I hope you guys like :D I have a screenshot previewing the battery life, saved my butt when I didn't have time to charge my phone in the morning before leaving for school all day and afternoon because I fell asleep on the phone with my girlfriend, still had like 45% charge in the morning :D Let me find the screenshot...

I also ran stability tests and a benchmark in QS, this rom hasn't gone below 2.9k and stayed pretty stable on me during the test... hot as hell, nearly burned my hand, but still stable.

Those are some nice numbers!

I've been experiencing a lot of lag, I hopw the recent update helps. Then again i haven't updated the rom in awhile. Thanks so much for your contribution and dedication you put into this rom. I love it!

That's happens on some roms after a while and a full wipe and reflash usually solves lag. But the newest update solves alot of the lag in this ROM :D

HaloBean 6 test coming up, RC1 has the PureAudio™ Engine by Jeeko @ XDA. Has Beats, XLoud, and Megabassbeats included, and it has better sound quality. I figured the audio engine needed changing when I was listening to System Of A Down and the sound got crunchy in a few spots during Revenga. Plus, this mod apparently has speaker boosts. I'll try to find a way to get the same level of sound quality that PattF's SimpleROM had. You can't beat that kind of sound quality.

EDIT: Just added the HB6RC1 link to the testing section.

Im giving HB5.0.4 a go and so far im liking it.

The only thing I didn't like right off was the keyboard; the layout is goofy and starting from the first boot it has randomly FCed.

Great work on this rom its fast and smooth.

I knew something was up when the keyboard didn't fc... wait I flashed the HB6 RC. I haven't even flashed 5.0.4 yet :o

And thanks! I'm not sure how everyone else feels about the keyboard, I personally like it though I switch in between HTC keyboard and Swype (HTC for normal use and Swype when I'm trying to be sneaky with one hand at school :P)

If it didn't FC I could have lived with it because the thing that bigger me the most on layout was the smile button being where most keyboards have the symbol/number button so typing like normal I'd go to get numbers and end up with a :-) instead.

I switched the HTC keyboard for the 2.3.6 keyboard from droidsmith.

Fyi I pulled titanium backup (IMHO has no place in a rom as it normally causes more issues than it solves) as well as calendar stuff (never use it) swapped the file explorer for root explorer (I know you can't include it but its a must have for me).

I'm currently running sio smartassV2 1.4ghz Max.

Btw what's up with the sprint stuff in system/app? I can't see any reason for it unless you have it linked into something idk about.

Oh yea one more FC ... in settings menu... not a biggie but if you click
connection optimizer
It FC android.phone.

Not really sure, but I'm still pretty new to all this compared to others around here. I haven't taken a look at that though I really should. I think it was mentioned before about a month ago?

Titanium is nice to have in there if you flash and can't download from Play Store, like me, since I flash on the go or at school, and the school network doesn't always let me connect to the play store so I kept TB in there. The file explorers... I don't even use the miui file explorer anymore, it force closes sometimes and it annoys the hell out of me sometimes. So I'm probably gonna switch it out in a later update.
