Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] ICON rom V2.0 * released 10/16/12 *

WOW!!! Great looking Rom!! I really like the clock in the middle and the blue themes!! I still haven't flashed it yet, but I already know it works great, look at all your reviews!!
You people just keep getting better and better!! I mean everyone, Great Job mhannah, AGAIN!!

Added super extended power menu and statusbar clock right align to the addons section of OP

Edit: almost forgot... thanks to mrbobo for helping me with the permissions!!!
 
i tried to enable the gps through the drop down menu and the system menu in the rom and it just wouldnt enable for me and when it did i would exit to the home screen and it wouldnt work. i will try the new rom and let you know if it works.

I haven't ever had that problem. Try reflashing the rom and see if that helps
 
i have noticed one thing since flashing the extended power menu....when charging the battry icon is no longer animated....it only shows a solid sliver of red

hahaha im too busy messing with the phone to ever let it get past the green light at 91%....and i have 2 of them

edit: great work by the way this is still the best one ive tested and i think im gonna stick with it for awhile....any chance of ota support....*crosses fingers*
 
Hey all, my first post here. I just materialized from the lurk realm :-) Anyway, thanks so much for all your work with ICON mhannah3333 it is an awesome rom! I think i have found a bug though if you're interested. I think it only affects the like 1% of us dumb enough not to buy name brand sd cards like me, but I went for a cheapo sd card and upon installing the new version of ICON from the 1.0.5b it no longer allowed me to install applications from Play. I kept getting "cannot install to usb or sd card" error whenever I tried to download market apps. Tried troubleshooting, unable to find a permanent workaround. Switched back to 1.0.5b, worked like a charm! Just F.Y.I.

Edit: Nevermind, the card is just crap. Going back to the new ICON and my old 2 gig card. :sigh:
 
Thanks for working on this ROM. Good job with the theming and including a number of useful apps. Your screen shots show a score of 4046. I loaded it today set the overclock. Then installed Antutu and I only got a score of 3268. Big difference, yet I did not install anything yet??? I rebooted (it boots fast) and tried again and the score was 3258. I'm thinking it could be my SD card; that part of the test seems takes a while. I have 16gb class 4.
 
Def sounds like something else is going on. I have a 16gb class 4 card. Can you post a detailed view of your score? Whay mean is when you look at your score in the top right it will have a tab for "details" that way we can see what score the individual parts of your phone got.

Thanks for responding... I flashed a different ROM right after. I was just trying to benchmark ROMS.
I will reflash this ROM and check what's up. I think it may have been the settings in the governor. I used the default (scary?) When I reflash I will try performance so the CPU stays at full speed.

EDIT:
After reloading and changing Governor to Performance, I got a score of 4351.
RAM: 510
CPU Integer:1178
CPU Float=point: 510
2D Graphics: 302
3D Graphics: 1237
Databse IO: 445
SD Write: 9.6MB/S 96
SD Read: 7.3MB/S 73
CPU Frequency: 1708MHZ

W/O changing the Governor score is 3387
 
I Been Using This For About A Week And Ur Build Prop Messes With Call Service So I Went Back To The Original, It Helps.....Also The Middle Clock Over Laps The Notification, U Should Move The Clock Back To The Side And Make An Update, Like All Ur Work.......
