Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

Ok flashed nOOb and all went well. I would like to than LilBit, Doc, Prinny, and MrBobo for all there help with assisting me so that I could this, thank you so much. WOW!!! Soooo much better than stock, really, really nice. GREAT work MrBobo. Sorry to see you go, you will be missed. Just one thing though, I backed up all my apps, widgets, and contacts on titanium backup then put titanium backup on the sdcard and they are not showing up on phone. If I open File Explorer and click on sdcard they all are there. My question is how can I move them to the phone. Oh the pictures, music, and my notification sounds showed up but not the other stuff. Thanks again you guys and gal.

go to settings/applications/manage applications/ select an app and then choose to move to phone or move to sd-card.

@ slymike - if you want your stuff back via titanium backup, open tb, hit your menu button, select "batch" then "restore" then select which apps you want to get up and going again. You can restore app only or app plus data. ONLY restore data for your games and/or apps you wish to fully restore your old data from. It's advisable by many to never restore data but I do and have never run into issues. After restoring your apps then you'll be able to do your widgets again. TB won't restore your homescreen(s) so you'll have to re-setup all that

I can`t open tb, its not in the app drawer. But it shows up in file explorer.

just download Titanium again from the market, that's the only one you need to re-download, you could install it from sd, but why, it's small and easy to install from the market... after that, the instructions above about using the batch restore works great. Remember to not install any data for system apps or you could cause issues.

welcome aboard, you have a great group of people here who can answer all your questions and I lurk around too :)

the fresh install of titanium will see the backup you made with titanium before you installed n00b, the backups just sit on the sd card, titanium will find them once you re-install that program, it's made to do that.

Typical use to go from stock to a rom or rom to rom:

Install titanium on your phone, make a backup
install a new rom
install titanium back on the phone, restore your backup
profit!

I just switched to this rom last night, and when I was changing the font my phone got stuck in a boot loop (though it was nice seeing my boot animation so many times since I like it :) ). I tried manually changing the font and using a font changer app, and they both gave me the same results. Anyone else having this same issue?

Have you tried UOT to change the font? I have never had a issue with it as long as I used that program. Just a suggestion.

I use font installer. I have changed fonts two or three times. Haven't had a problem. I just let the program reboot the phone instead of manually doing it.
