Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

Same zte charger, same everything...I have another battery from the wife's phone, also a warp and it still happened because I figured it could be a battery issue...seems as though it's running hot while charging overnight...not sure but I will try to reformat the SD card and reflash everything...at this point another clean wipe, reformat, and I'll try to go from viii to .i to .ii and see if that works...
 
After doing some research on this, I dont think its the rom and possibly the phone itself, I dont have the problem with the charging issues but I do time to time have it happen when it does a full reboot, it doesnt happen everytime (1-5). And after doing some reading on non-rooted and rooted on other forums and on here, would lead me to belive its the phone either overheating or lack of a better word freaking out lol, but if its charging and thats all its doing, It would lead me to belive it would be a bad battery or charger, just my thoughts....:D
 
What I noticed when I had it happening was mostly when more than one app fired off at once. Example: Every morning my Alarm Clock Extreme app wakes me up while on the wall charger. When a text came thru or a phone call or another app alerted it would give the led light of doom (what I called it lol). Just a thought, do you run more than one alarm app like an alarm clock and also an app with a reminder feature like Maluba, Colornote, etc at once?

I noticed a few posts back where you claimed that the phone is not overclocked. A few questions, because this sounds like the phone overheating. The kernel packaged with nOOb is a 1.8gHz OC kernel, it is set to start up and run normally at 1.6 gHz through MrBobo's init.d script. First question is are you using any app like SetCPU, NoFrills CPU, Antutu CPU control etc. to adjust those frequencies? If not, second question, is have you downloaded and tested one of these apps to make sure that the frequency and governor are set as they should be "out of box". In other words you should see 1612 or 1.6 gHz set as a maximum and 122 set as a minimum, and, MrBobo can correct me if I am wrong here, smartassV2 as the governor. If the answer to both of these is no, then I suggest you download one of the apps and check into that. If you find things are as they should be then, you quite possibly could have a model that doesn't react well with being overclocked. In this case I would use one of the apps to back off of the "out of box" settings for nOOb and have the phone start up and run at stock frequencies (1024 or 1 gHZ).
 
It is a different problem than mine then. I was having the same conclusion with shut down and steady led but neither of our phones were hot. They just wigged and shut down. So happy that's done and over with.

Just got my warp back. Zte was fixing it. The mutha board got fried. But i loaded up noob rom. NICE!!. Very smooth. Works great. Havent found a prob yet. Now im tempted to load jelly belly bean on this bad boy.
 
Question. .. I gave my warp to a friend and updated the rom to the newest noob. .. he wants to put a livewallpaoer on but the system wallpaper option is not there. When he holds on the main screen and hits wallpaper it only open quick pic... far as I can tell mr bobo removed the wallpaper and live wallpaper apks in this version

Do any of u guys using this know how to put a live wallpaper on?? Or if u see this bobo give me some insight bud. Hope your enjoying the new Note 2:p

I can send text messages but i reicive them very late. I sent a message on Monday and I got the response Yesterday. Any idea what might be the problem? Im running the latest n00b rom.

Most likely you are having Boost mobile issues and not ROM issues. You might try getting to an area with very good signal and doing a data profile update from the settings menu. That may help but most likely there are tower issues or tower upgrades going on in your area.

installed and so far so good except camera does not function and closes itself as soon as i open it :/ help please, i want to keep this rom, it's awesome

Boot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Then go to advanced and select fix permissions. Then reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work for you. You will have to wipe everything again and reflash the ROM. There really shouldn't be anything wrong with the camera app.

It is not n00b rom. Download rom again and reflash it from cero. I have n00b VIII.II on my warp and my wife's working perfect and fast on both phones. It is just perfect, no even one issue, no fcs, best rom warp ever seen, so:
1- Save all to your PC.
2- Format your sdcard with SDformatter.
3- Redownload and reflash noob VIII.II

My camera is working now (:
Just had to reboot. I think.. (randomly checked and it worked )

my phone is running fast and smooth, I love it. But I think this phone has had it's run. It's been great to me but the lg Venice looks awesome, (camera is super super clear, makes this phone look like 2 megapixels )

Thank you all for the help. Now it's time to learn about simulators (:
 
I'm having sms/mms issues with the latest noob. When I go to compose a text, I select a recipient by typing in the first few characters of a name, it comes up with who I am looking for, I click it, and when I go to send it won't let me because at the end of the contact I added after the coma, the first few letters or numbers I typed in when selecting a contact are appended, thus saying it is an incomplete recipient.

I have to manually delete the appended characters every time.
