Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

Are you serious??? I mean are you you really serious!!
Dude!! I mean, are you for real??? Why even ask such a
question? WHY:confused: noobVIII.II runs
flawless with the kernel it has installed. PERIOD!!!
Does it matter what version of DTM'S kernel it is? NO!!!!!!!

Give us all a break!! K?
lolll...!

I have n00bVIII.II, all working fast and ok, but sometimes my bluetooth have issues: I hear ok but who called me did not hear me, if I turned off-on bluetooth then sound turns ok again. It is like the bluetooth device is sleeping. Sometimes is disconnected at all when receiveing a call (I cannot hear nothing but icon shows it is connected).

I have that bluetooth problem not only with this rom, even with my old HTC EVO 4G had it, but is just sometimes.

My solution right now is just turn off bluetooth if something is going wrong in a call.

any suggestion ?

No idea I haven't touched the bluetooth from stock so my guess is either just an issue on the bluetooth itself or an issue from zte with thos phone

I have a quick question. I want to clean my phone up, ( just house keeping). I've saved everything from my sd card onto the computer. I want to wipe the phone completely clean, and re-install nOObVll full rom. Should I leave anything on the sd card?

ok dl the new rom (cant w8 for cm9/cm10 for warp) and it pops up with system update, everytime i try to update it it tells me "assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == " prop("ro.build.product") == "arthur"
E:Error in /cache/b1c2e4660379.N860_b08c_to_b10G
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Well I found that just format your sd card, then place the rom on it, then go into recovery, install, wipe dalvik and fix permissions and then reboot and you will be good to go......:D

Just leave the viii.ii full zip on there and wipe the rest

What do you have installed right now? Are you onthe latest n00b? What does it say in settings about phone?

Sounds like you are a version back and you were prompted to update...

You don't want ro runthe update from zte if you are on my rom

I knew was not because n00b rom, but should not be an issue from ZTE, because I had it on my old HTC EVO 4G with this bluetooth device, so must be something related to the bluetooth device (Samsung WEP870).
It is weird that most time works ok.
If someone had a similar experience and can suggest something better than turn off-on the device I'll apreciate it.
Thanks

Yep I had a samsung BT that would do the same thing and once I switched to Plantronics Pro HD, not one glitch lol.....;)

Please give this a try : When in doubt use the zte handset update tool to go back to factory set up then backup and format sd card check that signal and everything are good and then reflash the full install. Maybe first check your account too withboost and make sure something isnt messed up payment wise.

Please report back...

I'll give this a go tomorrow, as I'm going to try to have her run the phone all day today and see if we have the issue.

But no issues with boost payments. :-)

I don't know if anyone else has run across this problem yet, but whenever my phone is on the charger all night it won't turn on in the morning...the only way to get it up and running for me is a battery pull and rebooting it that way...otherwise it works pretty flawlessly. Mr. Bobo? Anyone else experienced this issue?

What are your oc settings at?

You are the first I have heard mention this issue. Without knowing your setup I can't trouble shoot. How far from my defaults are you? Any other mods or overclocking?

If it's giving you a solid led light as well then yes I've had this happen before on prior versions but not this newest one (because it's freaking awesome). My girlfriend's phone has too and so has Sicfreaks. The only way to make it stop is a complete flash of the FULL ROM. I don't know what causes it.

I just wiped everything and flashed through cwm like I normally do with any ROM...no oc, no other mods on top of it, just the basics...maybe because I flashed it from viii and not viii.i? I'm sure it's my own user error, I've just never had this problem on previous noob versions before so I'm a lil stymied lol.

are you using the charger that came with the phone, do you have a stock battery? I am not sure what would cause that if you have a clean install. It could be a fault with the charger or battery, but I am out of my element trying to troubleshoot beyond the system.

Always good advice to make sure your SD card is fairly clean (no roms unzipped on it, etc) but that's probably not something that would contribute to this issue.
