Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

I assumed as much as a lib file was not copied, or something along those lines. Again, though, thanks for this rom. Pretty sure this is my daily, now. Just need to find some good wallpaper to match and perhaps theme gosms a bit :)
 
I had an issue with the headphones and dspmanager as well. That's fixed. I do notice 2 other things. Autostarts and this rom don't play nice. Facebook and currents etc still load at will.

Also, those increasing screen density/res on their phone don't go too small or the numbers on the dialer won't show. For instance with lcd resolution app, don't go below 180.

All in all still a super plush ui and rom overall.
 
Running, this rom is like a dream cum true lol its totally awesome just updated earlier can't wait to see if there are anymore updates
 
Good job on this Rom, I like the theming on the status bar, system sounds(I disabled Holo Locker because I like the lock sound) and the debloated apps, I just like the Rom period.
 
okay so N00b II worked great 4 me but I liked the extra apps installed with n00b III so I gave it a try. Probably every 30-45 seconds the phone would either freeze for a few minutes then work again - or completely freeze n id have 2 take out the battery. Just a few minutes ago the touchscreen wouldn't work at all so I had to flash back to N00b II...only to find out the keyboard that it came with decided not to install this time so I couldnt use the playstore or anything else to dload a keyboard. Now I'm on N00b II again. I notice that most people aren't having any problems with N00b at all but I wanted 2 throw it out there that there are sum problems on sum warps. It sux cuz I really liked this rom alot.
 
So now that I'm on N00b II I notice the option to "edit" and application name is no longer available...is there any way to do this on N00b II??

Install Holo launcher...

Also for what it's worth it sounds like you got a bad download, I did update the update and full installs after a couple issues were pointed out. If dsp manager doesn't work for you install root uninstaller and remove it, should take care of the issues you first mentioned.
 
Thanx MrBobo...oh ya I forgot that "edit" option is from the launcher, lol. I probably did have a bad download I'm just afraid 2 try it again cuz it took so long this morning to re-install my apps/data (even tho I use TB). I know I could backup with cmw just in case but, idk...:) Thanx again 4 the reply.
 
I love the Holo launcher you added. I really like version n00b II but III is the best ROM I have used. Thank you for the work you put into this ROM, it is very smooth and stable for me.

What would you like to see if I did a theme? It's pretty much where I Want it right now theme wise... I have some features to work on so there should be an update in a few weeks
 
It runs so well! Maybe a new theme color? Black and blue? Make it shoot lazers lol jk what ever you have in mind will be great I can honestly say this rom is the best :) also one question is the notification header(where the battery and other icon are such)transparent? Its hard to read my texts D:
 
I downloaded new 3 since I am a new class just wondering since is the first time I've ever been this where do I find all the things I backed up so I can put some of them back on my desktop
 
has anyone had a problem with changing the default wallpaper? the rom is working flawless for me save for the fact I can't change my background with it. quickpic and the launcher setting will allow me to choose a wallpaper but nothing actually happens.
 
Lots of foced closures. app drawer won't stay on 1 category. when you try to punch on say ALL and then scroll the app drawer when you start scrolling it changes from all 2 most recent or whatever other category. also having a hard time customizing holo launcher doesn't seem to be very many options. I'm not complaining in anyway just sharing my thoughts

If you don't like the limited version of Holo Launcher, the paid version has more features and animations. Noob ROM is one of my favorite Roms, and I didn't have any problems with it. Perplexed.

What did you come from, how did you install the Rom?

Flash the full install from cwm sounds like a bad install... You can try clearing cache and advanced clear dalvik and fix permissions from cwm first
 
WOW, so i been on vacation for a bit, and decided to come check in to see what was new in the Warp World. To my surprise Noob III rom was on page 3! So i had to come tell everyone hello and mention that this rom is still blowing me away and i shared it with all my friends in SanDiego and the LA area, a couple of which, are fellow WARPERs im still functioning with no flaws, and its working on my new 3800MaH battery fantastic!! I went for 12 hours in the car working GPS navigation, Pandora plugged into my car speakers, bluetooth file shares, and tons of picture taking, not to mention the random web browsing for near by bars and shops! No issues...and i still had juice for the night scene :) Also, i wanted to thank Mr. Bobo for being so on the ball, i was reading back into the thread a bit and saw he answered a few questioned i had asked a while back, and i must have gotten busy, but i never "thanked" him. So thanks again for a stella rom and really listening to all of us that are using it.
P.S... someone had posted about not knowing how to use the panorama shot on ICS+... I love this feature, its worked flawlessly for me since day one! Got some great shots of the Malibu coast using this!
 
Got a weird issue I've never run into before, just flashed from n00bII to n00bIII (I downloaded via pc, so not thinking it was a corrupt file & also flashed multiple times & tried all the standard fixes) and all went well except for some reason my date & time seem to be locked, see below

You know... I never noticed but mine are like that, too. I'll see if maybe I can figure out something.
 
Mine is too, never noticed that, never tried to change it, I am curious if it worked in earlier versions of the rom... I will look into it
 
If I recall correctly it had always been that way. Even on stock Rom. Only way to really tell would be to use the update tool and go back to stock completely.
