Bootloader mode (green android guy)

Really? Ive never had it work in bootloader.
@hroark, i dont have a backup with b08c, quick fix? Otherwise i'll redo it all with woodstocks nandroid, and reintegrate my system apps

did you try rebooting your computer

yes I did reboot pc, restoring a nandroid now to see if it recognizes after nandroid.

has to recognize as adb device in bootloader, thats how you flash the recovery image....

well i have flashed the original zip

killed my wifi

advanced restore of system

wifi was good

bootloader worked

flashed JBrd400_cwm_data_fix_v2.zip

wifi is still good

What I did:

restored nandroid (bo8c from woodstock)

reboot

wifi works

flashed updated v2 zip in CWM

reboot

wifi still works (yay!)

reboot into bootloader and pc recognizes it again (even reflashed the CWM recovery to be sure it worked and it did)

reboot

everything hunky dory....will test data restore in a few and report back.

try restoring a nandroid before appliying the v2 zip. thats what fixed me. Use woodstocks b08c nandroid if needed...

you have to do a restore of system to fix wifi

the new v2 script does not kill wifi like the first one did


you can down load one of the nandroid back ups that are posted in this forum and restore them

or you can do FTM mode restore

I agree, get a fully stock nandroid on ur sd card and KEEP it there for restores.

yeah, I usually don't because I know that cwm didn't do data so I always relied on shinjitsu's rom and titanium backup so I never really had the need xD but it's fine because I got titanium backup

Though now that the data works and everything supposedly, I'll definitely do this.. though it is a bit data intensive.. oh well, I can just delete the previous one if I need more room (unlikely atm)

edit: crap lol I think i did make one backup after the rom but I already rebooted.. looks like im restoring it again and then patching afterwards

Except one problem.. lol when cm7 comes out 100% bug free, it'll b from square one again xD
