Well it crashed tonight. :(

I had to go back and reflash the ROM to the phone. The phone crashed and would not turn back on until I did a battery pull (very blackberry-esque I must say!) Regardless. I reflashed 1.1c and then 1.5b and everything seems to be ok. I am having three particular issues.

1. The wifi keeps turning itself back on if I activate bluetooth. Very strange...

2. The brightness controls seem to not work at times. When I reboot the phone they work fine, but I am noticing this happening more often. I am using Go Launcher widget for this so it might be an issue with their widget, but it keeps defaulting at full brightness even when I lower the brightness in the settings too.

3. When the phone rings I find the ringtone glitching in and out for some reason. It's almost like the ringtone is overloading the system. :confused:

Outside of this the ROM has been damn stable and much more reliable than past efforts. It's probably the closest to a daily driver that I have used thus far. Keep up the good work! :cool:

Your swiftkey issue sounds like my touchpal issue. What worked for me was uninstalling the android keyboard. It became the default keyboard after that.
 
so i have been having this issue lately, has 1.5b on it, it randomly freezes or just reboots. any time i play a game, about a min into it, it freezes then reboots. just being plugged in to charge, freezes, gotta do a battery pull. not digging it, in the past 2 days it has either froze up or rebooted approx 45 times............. so i think till 2.0 comes out, i gotta go back to either 1.1c or stock. reinstalled 1.5b with caches wiped, dalvik wiped, data/factory reset. and still keeps doin the freeze or reboot or both thing. phone came with B08C on it, used hroark13 zip fix without a prob. any suggestions?

I think you have to flash wo odstocks nandroid to bo8,then do this rom.
 
already had woodstocks nandroid flashed, then 1.1c then 1.5b, then hroak13's kernal fix zip. runs fine for everything else. but sometimes will freeze and reboot when being unpluged from charger, just randomly freezes or reboots, and any games, even ones without alot of animation such as words with friends, will freeze for a sec, then reboot. or just looking at pics in my gallery..... kinda annoying... :(

Did you try fix permissions in cwm,?
 
permissions fixed as well, i am gonna do a full wipe of everything again and start from scratch......... kinda sucks, but testing roms out like this helps pin point the problems and makes them better. :D
 
I'm considering downloading this, but my internet is extremely slow lately. Before I go through the trouble, is there an update to be expected soon? Preferably in zip format
 
Iam running 1.5b but my baseband says b01 not b08,and i used woodstocks nandroid to go to bo8c for wp7 rom then woodstocks nandroid to i thought b08 rom this rom,dont know why its bo1,?

I had the same problem, It would reboot always when i needed it most, such as trying to find a place with google maps. And when it reboot it wouldn't just reboot it would keep rebooting untill i pulled the battery. The problem with that was I have a hard case with a soft case so taking it off and putting it back on isn't something I want to do frequently. I love this rom, I just had to go back to stock due to these reboots. Hopefully the next release will be better

I had the exact same issue.
I think the problem is it is currently based on B08. I had reboot problems everything before B08c stock that completely stopped with B08c.
 
Im going to make a stable version before 2.0 comes out 1.5b was a working beta 1.5c will be the next stable release. Based on B08b

2.0 might be delayed till we get a working source
 
looking forward to the 2.0 build, had to go back to stock for now, 1.5 kept crashing along with 1.1c. love the rom, but till its compatible with B08c i gotta run stock. keep up the great work shinru, if you need a tester for bo8c build, let me know, i will gladly test for you!!!! not scared of boot loops. or bricking, they make warps everyday. ;)

I have been forced back to stock as well. Shinru's latest offering is the best work he's done so far, but I still could not rely on it for a daily driver thus far. I am really looking forward to his next outing. :-)

while we wait for source, would you be willing to help chevron get boot options and crt going on his rom or release just a B08c nandroid with those two things?
 
I tried desert wings but it said I need game command which isnt compatible with the warp oddly enough..

Dude, I will love you forever (no homo :p) if you can release a stable version, and can fix the problem where the phone goes into screen lock, but won't start up again. I'm 15, and I go to school. The last thing I want to do is pull out my phone, pulls the back off and battery out, and then restart it. I have this whole week off, so I hope you can get it by the end of the week. And good job on this ROM, it is very nice, and very user friendly (when it works).

P.S. I am looking for something that can fill up my free time, and keep me off Call of Duty. If you ever need someone to help you with icon decoration or anything, let me know, and I'll be more than willing to give you a hand.
 
The stability issues are caused by the experimental adreno 205 update drivers. Im going to revert to stock until i can make the new drivers stable.

The new default theme for my rom will be chevron theme. Thank you Chev!!

So does this mean there will be a more stable ROM soon? :D

And will the screen lock problem be fixed? :3
