Where are the graphic drivers located? and they don't seem to give my phone any hiccups.. I wonder if it's just on the newer phones o:

I mean lockscreen issues is what hroark was having trouble with and he had a newer warp

Any time shinru check your inbox, feel free to change the theme name in the status bar if you want:)

I'm not 100% sure, but to me, it seems like it's under system/etc/firmware. That's my best guess
 
Yeah I remember poking around that place and saw some curiously new looking files that didn't seem quite so stock :p

If you do get them stable lemme know what process you had to take! I'd like to know how you can 'stabilize' drivers like that
 
My wifi is not working properly with your ROM is there a fix for this? I can access my wifi but it isnt receiving any data or sending it over wifi
 
If its connected to your router then it isnt the rom, might be your router. Reset it if it still doesnt work then enter CWM and fix permissions

Sorry for the lack if development but i have alot of stuff going on in RL as well as being a dtay at home dad for right now. I am doing work when i actually get the free time i promise

If you're having a problem with your phone that isn't caused by this ROM, it is common courtesy to post in your own support thread. As such, I've moved a few of the longer off-topic discussions from here to their own threads.

However, shinru2004, you might want to consider putting in a recommendation for the new clockwork build into your OP if it will help out people trying your ROM :)
 
Thank you so much. Sorry for derailing (off-topic) but in attempt to clean up a little hopefully I created this for those who can't get their warp rooted.

Its not my router, because I only have problems when i have the ROM installed. When i revert back to stock it works just fine and also when i try to play games it also reboots itself without notice or some programs just shut off unexpectedly... I fixed permissions, applied Hro's fix and tried reinstalling several times with the same problems so I assume its the ROM. Just thought you would want to look into it so you can get the bugs tweaked :)
And i'm not really new to this at all, I have a Prevail also and have CM7 on there so i have been through this quite a bit. I really wish I could devote time to helping fix things but i work so damn much I just dont have time

Im guessing its the new graphics drivers throwing things off, android is weird if every driver doesnt jive right then half the rom wont work lol

Im trying to stabilize the new drivers, if i cant get it then i will revert to stock drivers then build a version of my rom off B08c, once we have a working kernel source the new drivers can be integrated
 
the one with the new drivers seems to work fine for me.. though sometimes I get some FC's on games but a reboot takes care of them.. if it doesn't reboot automatically :p
 
So..ive been hesitant to try this rom untill it was updated for 08c, but i gave it a shot last night, and honestly i have not found ONE fault...i get less force closes then i do with even reg. nandroid backups...im a bit confused though, i DEFINATELY downloaded 1.5b, yet build # in about phone shows 1.1...is this normal?

I forgot to change the build number on 1.5
 
kk just wanted to make sure i didnt do anything wrong..good work tho man i cant wait for an 08c stable version...after reading all these problems i was shocked that after i restored all 107 user apps + data, ran most of them had zero problems...
 
I don't know if it's just me but after putting your rom on my phone it say I only have 256 ram, when I should have 512. and plus no matter what game I try to play on it, it restarts my phone. so sorry to say but I going to uninstall your rom, sorry...

:eek: Where can I get that info from to see if my phone is having the same issue? That might be the reason for a lot of my games force closing on me..
 
A percentage if physical ram is allocated to base system tasks, the rest is used for services and apps. Kind of like on windows the only difference between windows and linux ram wise is the way linux allocates the memory. Since ive had this phone it has never read 512mb ram
 
It seems unusual the device would report exactly 256MB of RAM regardless. I don't doubt you'll never see the full 512, but this sounds like a faulty reporting mechanism coming from, well, somewhere.
