findings so far:

installed over stock b08 after wiping dalvik only, bootlooped on boot animation

formatted data in cwm, booted up but camera didn't work and wifi connected but no internet

rebooted, wiped cache/dalvik, wifi worked and camera worked, but when I put wifi on and phone screen sleeps I loose phone signal until I turn wifi off

super user binary would not update until I cleared data on the app, then it updated no problem

Overclock hasn't frozen my phone yet which is great, last time I tested the oc hroark put out it froze my phone on shinjitsu every time

love the theming, very detailed and everything looks great so far

EDIT: formatted sd card and rebooted, still get signal loss when connected to wifi and phone screen locks and I open it back up, signal stays disconnected until I turn off wifi.

I have a fix for the signal loss, i thought i included it but looks like i didn't.

I will try to get the issues fixed asap, as i said this is a test build to figure out what other issues there are. As it seems every phone reacts differently to the same rom

simple noob question lol, I can go and backup the entire sd card on my pc, format card in CWM, then load all my data back on and the camera should still work correct?

A super stable B08 my OC kernel doesn't seem to take to well with B08c

Anyways list of to do's still

Fix Bluetooth (Wont pair or connect to anything) Might be kernel level
Find out camera wont work without formatting sdcard in CWM

Shinjitsu Rom 1.5.1c test build

I know there will be bugs with it, if it doesn't boot then you will need to format data.

wipe dalvik before install

if camera isn't working reboot recovery and format sdcard it will work fine from then on
Not necessary to whipe regular cache partition as well? Or can that have adverse effects?

the BIG thing I noticed so far though Shin is that overclock has not froze this phone, which I couldn't get to work using the first oc kernels that hroark had put out so I am really excited to see that working.

EDIT: still not sure what causes the signal loss to happen/not happen... I am wondering if it's just when I have the phone unplugged and not charging that it happens... testing now because it didn't happen just now when I had it plugged in.

EDIT EDIT: confirmed, if the phone is charging and I have wifi on and lock the screen the signal does not drop, but if it's unplugged and wifi is on and I lock the screen the signal gets disconnected. The plot thickens...

no real prob only thiing i noticed is that when i reboot i have to go to setcpu and reset settings. it autos at 1209 for me. gonna do a fact reset and see again. overall love iit no freeze ups. your the ish

I think that is because the phone doesn't truly sleep while on the charger... the signal probably drops because there is a problem with the phone sleeping... and not waking back up properly

I set 1209 or 1.2Ghz as default speed if you don't set OC on boot then it will default back. but i'm gonna drop the default back down to stock for battery life

EDIT: Im glad you guys like it so far, i think its a big step up from the last version even with the issues so far. I would have based it on B08c but i have heard that my OC doesn't take well to it. i will still start work on an 08c version though.

I'm also losing wifi...havent noticed screen on or off effecting it but..wifi just drops randomly...and it seems the status on off widget is not in sync with stock power control widget...one say on one say off...not sure what's causing this but other then wifi I'm living it great job man no probs whatsoever... wifi is important to me though bc I get crappy signal in my home so I'm always on wifi..

To RALLY ...(idk why quote didn't show up)
I reinstalled set CPU...used a diff version actually...send me q PM...but yes I was able to revert stock back to 1ghz without set on boot. Although I did run Max OC with no issues aside from a battery that dies in 20 min lol

Bobo you don't have any battery saver apps installed do you? I'm currently messing with auto killer memory opt pro kernel tweaks under wifi scan/sleep...

I changed wifi sleep policy to never ran a fix permissions and haven't lost wifi yet...been over an hour
Also removed my setcpu screen off profile.

Did ApolloStar2109 use your OC in his rom? If he did my phone had no problems with it at all. My phone was bought in March and came with 0b08c installed. That might be why mine unlike some others ran good with it.

Love the new rom... its flawless so far running at 1.7ghz non stop... I think I'm in love with launcher... only thing I don't like is the way the notification bar gets lighter when you open an app... I don't know if its a bug or if its meant to be that way.... i might also make a few theme changes and the boot animation should have an infinite loop... the rom only loads fast with no apps and I have 150+

Shin... I am getting a few random reboots...90 percent of them happen upon pressing home key..the home screen appears like its wrong aspect ratio for a sec then reboots.

I advanced restored the boot image of a nandroid of this Rom on WP7 3 and it runs perfectly fine except for the same wifi causing the cell signal to get turned off when the screen locks and the phone is in standby. So I think your new kernel is perfectly fine except for that one thing on B08c, I had tested the ones Hroark had put together but my phone froze up every time on any ROM. Forgive me if this is not the right way to extract your Kernel to test on other Roms, but it's the only way I knew and the result has been so far so good. Great work, huge fan of your work!

I haven't ever had that happen before, do you have the launcher set to auto rotate? it doesn't do to well with it enabled

EDIT: i'm going to post my modified OC file for people to look over i need to get some input on it, i have to be overlooking something because i cant figure out this signal and Bluetooth issue. the non OC version doesn't have these issues

i love this rom shin you did a great job. i havent had any reboots no single loss or anything yet.the 1 problem i am having is that i cannot get my sd partition to mount i have tried everything, any ideas?

EDIT...by everything i mean i formated my sd, reinstalled link, tried recreating mount scripts and still nothing

Im working on that right now, I believe since we dont have the custom a2sd scripts installed, we might have to manually change the sd-ext partition to fat32 instead of what CWM defaults it as ( using software like easus partition manager ) ON PC.

I suggest for now going back to a single partition until next update. If you look into the changelog shin crossed out a2sd due to script issues...I was able to get link2sd to mount one partition but due to lack of scripts it could only force a2sd using standard method. No biggie...we still have dalvik jit enabled...
