LOL listen don't hold me to anything, I just do sidework ( rooting ) for a local store, and they had heard from their regional manager about a possible update coming to a few handsets including the warp (not just firmware, android os, it's a 3rd party retailer so I'm not gonna get my hopes up, but i just was relaying some information. Anyway Shin, hows it goin man, i see you workin hard as usual, I like the new badge ;p...question though, I've never had problems themeing your rom in the past, and now each time i make one, it bootloops...any ideas? Im pulling the files directly from the phone...same way I've always done it in the past...

edit: Then again, boost is primarily working on adding 4g to all/most their towers, and FINALLY completely getting rid of the old IDEN network to help improve signal/quality (the sprint pcs side) I'm assuming by using old IDEN transmitters and switching them over to cdma....so yeah don't hold me to anything, the store is very shady that told me this in a ghetto ass city lol...I happen to do some remote work for them occasionally.

edit: My store used to be authorized 3rd party sprint dealer, I'm going to call my old sprint rep and see what he knows.

so what kind of cpu tweaks are there? what is v6 supercharger and loopy smoothness?

In a nutshell....scripts that go along with init.d combined with build.prob modifications to improve overall speed. V6 Supercharger is basically like, having an app such as auto memory manager or RAM manager but without the app, setting your RAM pages and allocated space etc etc...

One can only hope :D IF not ill dig through see what i can figure out i really need to bug my sister about her old laptop

Yeah my bad I never was able to come through on something for you, but I've been getting more and more parts in my scrap pile as I repair / build more PCs...soon enough ill put a barebones system together for you, if you still need, just can't put a timeframe on it. Been away w/ some health issues as I told ya and Im just catching up on work now...Kicking myself for ruining a netbook i had that would have been perfect for you, I was ready to junk it so i decided to just lets say trial and error a few things, andddddddddd yeah i trashed it, The screen works though lol...

Yeah if you still can man no rush though

Appollo do you know what might cause the bootloops themeing this rom? I've done it so many times in the past w/out problem...

Just a guess but the framework once you flash the non oc kernel is probably different

Edit: if you flash all of that i would suggest using ADB to pull the /system folder, then do what you're trying.

Yeah that's what I do just via rootexplorer of the phone, I doubt adb would pull the files differently im taking them directly from the /system folder but im gonna try b/c this is weird...

Is bootanimation in right place? If not will cause boot looping
Yes, I've done this many many times, and done much more complicated things, sry just very frustrated...but now This doesn't even matter b/c I have other phone issue, just started a thread...

It's cool, I read your other thread, sorry man that really sucks I hope you get it working.

Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if this mod (Shinjitsu) retains the option to switch language UI in Spanish? If not, is there a update or app for that? Thanks for your support.

i haven't ever tested it but it should, i haven't deleted any language files

EDIT: Updated Op with new entry in the change log for 1.5.1c Beta 3

Okay, this might be a stupid question, but is beta 3 available for download yet? Reading certain posts, it seems as though it is, yet i see no download link in the OP. Just wondering, since I could never get the previous version to boot without looping on me. I must be doing something wrong lol

I don't think it is. I was saying looking good to the upcoming changes. This rom is based on b08 so if you're on b08c that may be the problem. You would need to flash b08 first and then flash this

Okay, thanks, that makes sense! One other thing... how would I go about getting the most recent version to work? I obviously would have to downgrade to B08, but then what? Can I just install "Shinjitsu Rom 1.5.1c-Beta2" by itself, or do I need "Shinjitsu Rom Intermediate Update-1" as well? I tried using the "install from zip" feature of CWM to install the main Beta 2 zip, then the Intermediate Update afterward, and I get bootrolled lol
