I don't know if it will help you in the investigation of the Swype keyboard but I tried to install the Go Keyboard that I've used before on the Warp, Galaxy Prevail, and an HTC Incredible. With the Go Keyboard I can't even get the check box to stick in the Settings->Lang & Keyboard section. Also, the Go Keyboard doesn't even show in the input select popup when you long press an input field. I hope some of this might help provide insight into the cause of the trouble with the Swype keyboard.

EDIT: After restarting the phone the Go Keyboard was checked in the Settings->Lang & Keyboard section and it showed in the input select popup box but the Swype keyboard did not. It appears that only one other keyboard can be listed in the input select box. I hope this info is helpful.

Well the bug is a permission problem as to what permission it is im still digging through xD ill be sure to let jet know upon my find hope this helps all devs

This is not a flashable... it has all of the stock apks (except for the launcher)... to install move them to /system/app/ and set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot

Another little bug I've discovered in the Spare Parts App. It FC'ed on me when I tapped the Battery History button. Everything else was ok.

some apps will FC because there sytem apps like quickpic sleinir browser cameraICS(panarama mode) and many others thats probably the reason i can also say the xperia widgets do the same thing not all but some of them like the on/off tools hope that clarifies that

Yeah... some apps fc when they are system apps because of missing lib files... you can look inside of the app to find it and then place it in /system/lib/ and it will stop fcing... (I fixed quickpic and ics keyboard by doing this)... the spare parts app tries to access something that I don't believe is included in the warp stock software so it fces because it can't find it

Apps are basically just zip files... you can open it like any other zip file with winrar or 7zip or you can open it from your phone... once inside you will see a few folders... one will be named "lib"... open it and you will see 3 folders... each is for a different CPU platform... ours is armv7... so go into the corresponding folder and you will see a .lib file... extract it and then place it into /system/lib/... no reboot is required but I recommend that you do... after that the panorama mode should work properly

I've learned a lot today. The procedure you described allowed me to use the panoramic camera function. Thank you for your expert help. I am glad that I am comfortable using a UNIX based operating system because I noticed the permissions weren't the same as the other lib files so I reset them.

Another question has come to mind. I was going to delete the Launcher Settings icon from my home screen but I don't find it in the App Drawer so I'd have no way of getting it back later. I know I can access the Launcher Settings by swiping upwards to get the popup menu with it listed there. How can I put the Launcher Settings icon in my App Drawer? :hmmmm: Thanks.

Just dropping in to say I am still running this ROM and loving it. Thanks "neighbor"!! You did a great job with this. Noticed you were discussing getting Swype to work with this. I have Swype and the newest Swype Beta installed on my Warp and they are running with no issues. Swype is set default from the TB settings backup. I switched over to the Swype Beta keyboard today and had no issues with it not sticking. If there is anything I can do to help feel free to PM me.
