Should this rom move away from Ice Cream Sandwich and Towards Jelly Bean?

For some reason I could not use the quick reply for this note. It relates to the sound meter pegging at 90dB in the Smart Tools app.

Some info that may be helpful in troubleshooting the sound meter problem. I will paste below the body of the message from the developer of the Smart Tools app in which the sound meter is one of the programs. Also, I loaded some three other sound meters from the market and each one of them worked fine. That makes me suspect the Smart Tools app as the culprit causing the problem. What do you think?

Here is the body of the message from the Smart Tools developer:
"Hello. I'm a developer of Smart Tools suite.
Thank you for your interest.


1. No. in my country, no ZTE devices was released.


2. Only this permission is required. <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO" />


3. pegged at 90...
Sound level meter app uses your built-in microphone to measure the background noise.
Generally, phone mics were aligned to human voice (300-3400Hz, 40-60db).


Therefore the maximum values are already LIMITED by the manufacturers.
(Check the sound pressure at calibrate menu. it'll stop at 32767.)
The manufacturers might think that current microphones are enough to voice calling.
For this reason, the louder sound cannot be recognized."
 
When do you think you will be done with 1.5 and it will be ready for testing? And then ready for release?
I'm really loving this ROM.
 
bug alert~ running v1-0-1b w/all updates i noticed when you add the tool widget and use backlight it causes Experia launcher to force close just an FYI.

That is an incompatability issue... I would have to manually alter widget to fix it... Ill look into it on the next version (after 1.5)

I plan on having it released in 2 maybe 3 days... if I can manage to finish up everything

I don't know that you will. It's an audio driver that provides control of the phone's audio to other apps. It should improve the quality of sound from the phone within the phone's limits, of course. My hearing isn't as good as it once was so I can't tell much difference but I applied it anyway. :)
 
Still wanna apply this rom this weekend, I can't be with out my phone for work during the week or at night. So I have to wait till the weekend.
 
OK... so here goes another update: I've managed to fix a few bugs and I've also themed it a bit more

Jet, have you considered doing a red themed version? I love the blue, but I also loved the red themed ICS dialer and call screen you created awhile back.

Well heres a suggestion ;P i think jet should stick to blue and ill handle red in UnitologyV1.0A :D just a suggestion

Yeah... I gave up on the red... i gave myself a headache just to get it this far... I was going to re-theme everything red and then create a flashable zip but that would take waaaayyyyy too much time... ill let Apollo handle the red...
