For the market fix i suggest just giving them a fixed build.prop instead of a wipe data but i may be wrong as i don't know what your build.prop looks like :D

If you don't wipe data then the market will still think that the dpi is still altered... I didn't want to do it this way but I had to...:-\

noob question...what's dpi?

Dots per inch... it goes hand in hand with android screen resolution... our screen resolution is 480x800 and our dpi is 240... if I lower the dpi everything on the screen would become smaller... if I raise it then everything would become larger

That's what I thought it meant. I guess now I don't understand how screen resolution relates to the market and wiping data???

I changed the dpi on v1.0.1b to make it look better but the market recognizes any device that doesn't have the correct dpi as incompatible with a majority of the apps... so I had to change it back by replacing the build.prop and erasing data

What app are you using to set the ringtones?

Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5

I've tried using tone picker. When I do that and select my mp3 ringtone as default, afterwards it does one of 2 things- 1)shows ringtone as "flutey phone" or 2)shows ringtone as selected mp3 but when I receive a call there is no sound. I'm baffled. Maybe someone knows? Or ver 1.5 will fix?

Thank you for clearing it up for me. :)

I'm on 1.5 and I have no issues... and I got my phone back on and it rings and received calls with no issues... maybe something is wrong with the ringtones you're using?

Chris, have you tried going to settings, sounds, ringtone, and selecting from there? Do you have the MP3 ringtones saved in a file folder on your SD card labeled "ringtones" (without quotation marks)?

I am not having an issue setting any ringtones. You can set ringtones for individual contacts by going to contacts, clicking on the contact name then the menu button. Choose options and set a ringtone from there.

I've done everything you described/suggested more than once. Moved ringtone to system/media/audio/ringtones. Nothing. Made sure permissions on file matched rest of system ringtones. Nothing. Tried it through contacts. Nothing. No matter what I do I can't get a ringtone which I've used in the past on stock, to apply with this ROM. Which I'm really kind of bummed about cause other than that I absolutely love this ROM! Phone is faster, better UI, battery life improved, you name it- its better. Maybe someone can fix?

Where did you get 1.5? I don't see it as available.

What do you mean?

Oh yeah... I forgot to swap that out... my phone has been off through the entire creation of the rom so I didn't notice it until earlier (its back on now :p)... I will include the edited call screen in 1.5

I like the look of the notification bar, especially the transparent window and the readable colors. I had taken a couple of days to try another ROM, apollostar2109's Unitology. I reloaded WCS last night and I've run into a snag with TB. I get an error saying it could not acquire root privileges. I know I have root because other apps are having no problem. The error says the attempt was made using the "/system/xbin/su" command. Do you have any idea what may have happened to TB? :hmmmm2: I appreciate any insight you may have.

PS: I ran Root Check app and it says everything is okay with my root setup. I also installed BusyBox Pro app after the error appeared and it didn't change anything.

I ran the update from the Play Store. You must have made TB a system app because I couldn't uninstall it to start from scratch. I uninstalled the update and installed it again then restarted the phone. TB let me in but locked up on changing the Android ID. I FC'd the app and restarted TB and it seems to be okay.

I manually changed the Android to one from 6/24. How do I know which Android ID to use if I have a choice when I manage Android ID using the TB Manage Android ID's function in the TB app? TB wanted to change the ID again when I finally got it running so I let it do it again.

TB is running okay now. Restarting the phone seems to have cleared the root access problem TB and ROM Toolbox Pro were having. Wierd....

I like it if you could get rid of the boost mobile logos. I like this Rom very much and I all ready theme it some myself, I changed the dialer numbers with some I made in PS. I wanna change the dialer that opens when you enter your voice mail code also. I love the transparent pulled down screen, I always change that too and replace it with the angry droid. I changed the lock screen buttons too with my own.
