I've loaded the nandroid backup and so far everything is working fine except for the Wifi which connects to my local network and is pingable but will not connect to the internet. It loaded easily and it is the cleanest look I've seen on a ROM so far. This is a very good ROM from a user's standpoint. I really like the way jetx2x cleaned it up. Thanks for the hard work, jetx2x. :)

have you tried restarting after you turn on wifi? Mine will connect with data but if I turn it off and back on then it will not connect... but then after a reboot everything is fine

The Google talk error is not a problem with the rom... it was a general problem I was having before I made the nandroid

Wow, that worked. I simply selected Wifi, connected without Internet and when I rebooted I had a fully blue Wifi fan. Kudos and thanks. :)

I'm going to rebuild this rom from scratch tomorrow to fix some of these issues... like the wifi and the boot loop that I get after I make it a flashable zip

so that means to be in the safe side we could better wait till you fix all those things first and then we can install the update bc if it so I will just restore my previous back up I made before I installed today this update...

Is there any way you can hurry up on that flashable zip. As I've mentioned several times, I'm new to this. Either that or can you give me detailed instructions on how to get that nandroid backup loaded because i tried the instructions you said and it says MD5 mismatched.

You can use cwm to advanced restore your data from the previous version

Its my moms bday so I won't be able to do the zip until tomorrow... and try download the version that is on the first post... it has the md5 error fixed

Don't start from scratch... that'll take too long, but can I get some help here?

Im not going to completely redo everything... I'm just going to flash to stock and then add in each of my edited files one by one... this should help me to find the source of some of these problems

I reinstall it and now everything is working fine..... I haven't see the error msg I saw earlier... and it's working perfect now...
thanks once again you rock dude!

buuuuh the error just came back and now I think I have to reinstall the market too bc the 921 error msg or something like that came back too

it didn't get fixed. I tried everything you said. I clicked restore data. and i still go md5 mismatch. can you PM me the fixed link?

HaugHunter do you still see the failed google error or not?
I am not getting it after clearing the cache and wiping the user data in CWM. I had the wifi fixed by starting it and rebooting the phone but when I wiped the cache and data I now have to fix it again but I expected that. Oh, well. The life of a tester. :) :) :)

You don't have to reinstall the market... just clear data in cwm...

The problem with the nandroid backup is that it's missing a file. I worked with jetx2x last night to find out that this file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37303021/boot.img needs to be put in the nandroid backup folder on your sd card and then run the backup. It ran fine for me after that. I'm sure jetx2x will be getting this rom to us as soon as it's ready. Today is his mom's birthday. Happy Birthday to jetx2x's mom. :)

Edit: You can also download the nandroid backup from the OP which has all the files. :)

It installed perfectly for me.....Thks a bit ......1 problem I see is when I cut on my wifi sometimes it comes on and sometimes it dont......installed it 2 hours ago..... for people with the md5 error..... try wiping factory/ wipe cache/ wipe dalvik cache/ wipe battery stats/ and finally fix permissions......go to restore and press restore, if a md5 mismatch reboot and go back into recovery and restore should work......Gud luck.......

You have to turn on wifi and reboot to get it working correctly

I think we should have official tester status if we have personally tested more than 5 roms for the official developers :-) sorry to be off topic with that, but yeah i just downloaded this and am restoring the image as i type this, ill report any malfuctions when done if any
